Despite the fact that the Korean church has brought more services and rallies than the world church, the worship is not permeating into the spiritual daily life because it overlooks the connection between worship and life and spirit worldiness. The COVID-19 pandemic situation we have experienced over the past few years has become a mirror of the times that shows our worship and the various problems in the world we live in, and the ominous prediction that this unprecedented world will continue is needing for new standards and transformation toward our church. The present period suggests a new ecclesiastical imagination for worship, which recognizes the church as an organic expression of God's identity as an event of God's grace and God's plan for dialogue in all the creative world. The purpose of this study is to ensure that our worship leads to the place of Christians' life and leads to the site of practice through a correct understanding of the ‘spiritual worship’ we will give along with the ‘living sacrifice’. Looking at the translation of the Korean Bible translation of ‘Logikhen Latreian(λογικην λατρειαν)’ translated as ‘spiritual worship’ in Romans 12:1, it is shown as ‘reasonabl transition’, ‘reasonabl affair’, ‘reasonabl rite’, ‘reasonable worship’, ‘truly worship’, and ‘reasonable worship’. This study reveals that the original meaning expressed in the two words of 'spiritual' and 'worship' is to be filled with true knowledge of God, to think rationally in it, to acknowledge God, and to elevate God through worship to life in such understanding. To this examines the transition process of Korean Bible translation and reveals the original meaning of the word ‘λογικην λατρειαν’ in the Greek Bible. Today, there is a high voice that evaluates the big problem of Korean church as the absence of practice. The life of church and Christian should be established through worship and permeate the realm of daily life, and worship should be the principle of life. The most beautiful comparison of the church, which is a Christian community, is the expression of the body of Christ, and the reason for its existence is that we must live as the hands and feet of Christ. In the tension of the church between the separation from the world and the life of worship, emphasizing only the holiness of worship and the life of worship that emphasizes ethical life, we must find that living a life that gives life to the world and transforms the world through the holistic understanding of the Bible, tradition, and way of life is the right image of worship.

한국교회가 세계교회에 비해 수많은 예배와 집회의 횟수를 가져왔음에도 불구하고 예배드림의 은혜가 성도의 삶으로 스며들지 않고 있는 것은 예배와 삶의 연계성과 영 적 일상성을 간과하고 있기 때문이라고 여겨진다. 지난 몇 년 동안 우리가 경험한 코 로나 팬데믹의 상황은 우리의 예배와 우리가 사는 세상의 다양한 문제점들을 보여 주 는 시대적 거울이 되었고, 이 같은 지금껏 경험하지 못한 세상이 앞으로도 계속될 수 있다는 불길한 예측은 우리의 교회를 향해 낡은 고정관념에서 벗어나 새로운 표준과 변혁을 요구하고 있다. 지금의 시기는 예배에 대해 새로운 교회론적 상상력을 제안하 는데 이것은 곧, 교회를 하나님의 은혜를 나타내는 사건으로서의 정체성과 모든 창조 세계의 대화를 위한 하나님의 계획에 대한 유기적인 표현으로 인식하는 것이다. 본 연구의 목적은 ‘산제사’와 더불어 우리가 드릴 ‘영적예배’에 대한 바른 이해를 통해 우 리의 예배가 그리스도인의 삶의 자리로 이어지고 그 실천의 현장으로 이끌어 가도록 하는 데 있다. 로마서 12장 1절에 ‘영적예배’로 번역된 ‘로기켄 라트레이안(λογικην λατρειαν)’의 한글 성경 번역의 변천을 살펴보면, ‘當然之役’, ‘당연한 역사’, ‘당연한 예법’, ‘합리적 예배’, ‘영적예배’, ‘진정한 예배’, ‘합당한 예배’로 등으로 각각 나타나 있다. 이 ‘영적’이 라는 말과 ‘예배’라는 두 단어에 담아내어 나타내고 했던 본래의 의미가 하나님을 아 는 참지식으로 충만하고 그 안에서 합리적인 사고를 하며, 그 하나님을 인정하고, 그 러한 이해 가운데서 삶으로 드리는 예배를 통해 하나님을 높여드리는 것임을 한글성 경번역 변천과정에서의 고려와 원전 단어 ‘로기켄 라트레이안’의 본래 의미가 이를 밝 혀 준다. 오늘날 한국교회의 큰 문제를 실천의 부재로 평가하는 목소리가 높다. 교회와 그 리스도인들의 삶은 예배를 통하여 세워지고 예배가 매일의 삶의 영역에 스며들어 삶 의 원리가 되어야 한다. 그래야 우리가 바른 예배의 삶을 추구할 수 있게 된다. 그리 스도인의 공동체인 교회에 대한 가장 아름다운 은유는 ‘그리스도의 몸’이라는 표현이 며 그 교회의 존재 이유는 그리스도의 손과 발이 되는 데 있다. 윤리적 삶이 강조되 는 ‘삶으로 드리는 예배’와 예배의 거룩성 만을 강조하여 교회가 세상으로부터의 분리 와 고립되는 ‘예배의 삶’ 사이의 양면성에 대한 긴장에서 우리는 성서와 전통, 그리고 삶의 방식의 통전적 이해를 통해 세상에 생명을 주며 세상을 변혁하는 삶을 살아내는 것이 ‘영적 예배’가 가리키는 예배자의 바른 모습임을 발견해 내야 할 것이다.
