The purpose of this study is to investigate the difference in the effect of adult learners' participation motivation on satisfaction and happiness in education and on each variable according to participation motivation, and to investigate the mediating effect of educational satisfaction in the relationship between participation motivation and happiness. First, it was confirmed that the goal orientation, activity orientation, and learning orientation, which are the motivation for adult learners to participate in organized storage education, all had a positive (+) effect on happiness. Second, as a result of analyzing the mediating effect of educational satisfaction in the relationship between adult learners' participation motivation and happiness, it was tested that educational satisfaction partially mediates in the three factors of participation motivation: goal orientation, activity orientation, and learning orientation. It is meaningful to provide a theoretical basis for future research by identifying the influence relationship between Houle (1961)'s motivation to participate, educational satisfaction, and happiness, and verifying an integrated model for analyzing the mediating effect of educational satisfaction. In practical terms, the interest in "Organization and Storage Education" and "Organization and Storage Specialist" is increasing, and based on the results of adult learners' motivation to participate (target, activity, and learning) on educational satisfaction, professional, detailed, and various parts of organized education programs are needed.

본 연구는 정리수납교육에 참여한 성인학습자들의 참여 동기가 교육에 대한 만족도와 행복감에 미치는 영향 및 참여 동기에 따른 각 변인에 미치는 영향의 차이를 규명하고, 참여 동기와 행복감 의 관계에서 교육만족도의 매개효과를 알아보는 데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 정리수납교육에 참 여한 서울, 경기, 인천의 성인학습자를 대상으로 온라인 설문지를 배포, 최종 342건의 표본을 바탕 으로 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 정리수납 교육에 참여한 성인학습자의 참여 동기 목표지향 형, 활동지향형, 학습지향형과 교육만족도와의 다중회귀분석 결과 목표지향형, 활동지향형, 학습지향 형 순으로 교육만족도에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 정리수납 교육에 참여한 성 인학습자의 교육만족도와 행복감 간에는 교육만족도가 높을수록 행복감이 정(+)의 방향으로 높아졌 다. 셋째, 정리수납 교육에 참여한 성인학습자의 참여 동기와 행복감의 관계에서 교육만족도의 매개 효과 분석 결과 교육만족도가 참여 동기의 세 가지 요인인 목표지향형, 활동지향형 그리고 학습지 향형에 부분매개하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 지금까지 결과를 토대로 정리한 본 연구의 시사점은 다음과 같다. 먼저, 그동안 교육 및 학술적으로 거의 없었던 정리수납 교육에 대한 연구를 Houle(1961)의 참여 동기와 교육만족도, 행복감 간의 영향관계를 파악하고 교육만족도의 매개효과 분석에 대한 통합적 모형을 검증하여 향후 연구를 위한 이론적 토대를 제공한 데 의의가 있다. 실무적인 측면에서는 ‘정리수납 교육’과 ‘정리수납 전문가’에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있는 요즘, 정 리수납 교육에 참여하는 성인학습자들의 다양한 욕구와 동기에 맞는 전문적이고 세부적이며 다양한 부분의 정리수납 교육 프로그램개발들이 필요함을 시사하고 있다.
