In this paper, we studied the principle of left and right phonetic notation of Mako- Inkyo compared with Go’on and Kan’on. The results are summarized as follows. 1) The second opened rhyme Yuan(元) appears as -on, -an/-at, -en types in Go’on, but described as -on/-ot, -en/-et types in Mako-Inkyo. 2) The third rounded rhyme of Yuan(元) appears as -(w)on/-(w)ot, -an/-at, en types in Go’on. However, Velar･Guttural are written in -wan/-wat type, and Labial is described mainly as -on/-ot type in Mako-Inkyo. 3) The second opened rhyme Xian(仙) appears mainly as -en/-et type in Go’on･Kan’on･Mako-Inkyo. But [ベン面] of the initial of Ming(明) should be changed to [メイ] on Kan’on in Mako-Inkyo. 4) The third rounded rhyme of Xian(仙) appears mainly as -(w)en/-(w)et type, and -wan, -wen, -on types are mixed in Go’on, but is written in -(w)en/-(w)et type in Mako-Inkyo 5) The fourth rounded rhyme of Xian(先) appears -(w)en/-(w)et type in Go’on･Kan’on･Mako-Inkyo. But some characters ending in [チ] will have to be corrected with [ツ] on Go’on in Mako-Inkyo. 6) The Final-t of Go’on only as [チ] and Kan’on only as [ツ] in MakoInkyo. It can also be seen in Sino-Japanese dictionaries.

본고에서는 『磨光韻鏡』의 左・右音注를 실제 吳音・漢音 資料와 비교・분석하고『磨光韻鏡』 山攝 3・4等韻에 출현하는 字音 규정의 문제점을 고찰하였다. 그 결과를 정리하면 다음과 같다. 1) 開口3等 元韻은 吳音資料에서 -on형, -an/-at형, -en형으로 출현하는데 『磨光韻鏡』 左音注에서는 -on/-ot형과 -en/-et형으로 기재하고 있다. 2) 合口3等 元韻은 吳音資料에서 -(w)on/-(w)ot형, -an/at형, -en형으로 나타나는데, 『磨光韻鏡』 左音注에서 牙喉音字는 -wan/-wat형으로, 脣音字는 주로 -on/-ot형으로 기재하고 있다. 3) 開口3等 仙韻은 吳音・漢音資料와 『磨光韻鏡』 左・右音注에서 모두 -en/-et형으로 기재하고있는데, 『磨光韻鏡』 右音注에서 明母의 [ベン面]는 [メン面]로 수정해야 할 것이다. 4) 合口3等 仙韻은 吳音資料에서 대부분 -(w)en/-(w)et형으로 나타나며 -wan형, -wen형, -on형이 혼재하는데,『磨光韻鏡』 左音注에서는 -(w)en/-(w)et형으로 기재하고 있다. 5) 4等 先韻은 吳音・漢音資料와『磨光韻鏡』左・右音注에서 모두 -(w)en/-(w)et형으로 기재하고있다. 6) 舌內入聲韻尾를 『磨光韻鏡』에서 左音注는 [チ]로, 右音注는 [ツ]로 규정하려는 경향이 보이며, 이러한 규정 태도는 현용 漢和辭典에까지 영향을 끼쳤을 가능성이 크다고 판단된다.
