This study was conducted to obtain basic data to seize the flora of Mt. Udu, Geochang-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do, and to identify the flora condition for future climate and environmental changes. As a result of the investigation of the flora of Mt. Udusan, 90 families, 234 genera, 313 species, 3 subspecies, 36 varieties, 8 types, 360 taxa appeared, in naturalized plants appeared 15 taxa with 6 families, 15 genera, and 15 species, the naturalized plants was 4.16%. For Korean endemic plant, 7 families, 8 genera, 8 species, 1 variety, 9 taxa, and in the floristic regional indicator plants appeared, such as 4 taxa Aconitum austrokoreense, Acer pictum var. mono, Rhododendron sobayakiense var. koreanum, Artemisia viridissima etc. for grade IV, 4 taxa for grade III Betula chinensis, Spiraea nervosa var. chinensis subvar. angustifolia, Lilium leichtlinii subsp. maximowiczii, Diarrhena fauriei etc. 10 taxa for grade II, Aquilegia buergeriana var. oxysepala, Potentilla dickinsii, Geranium platyanthum, Viola orientalis, Cymopterus melanotilingia, Vaccinium hirtum var. koreanum, Weigela florida, Lilium distichum, Iris ensataCarex okamotoi etc. and 12 taxa Abies holophylla, Aphananthe aspera, Aconitum jaluense, Hylotelephium verticillatum, Spiraea blumei, Impatiens noli-tangere, Ilex macropoda, Eleutherococcus sessiliflorus, Fraxinus mandshurica, Lycopus maackianus, Hosta capitata, Glyceria leptolepis etc. for grade I. As for rare plants, there appeared 8 taxa with 8 families, 8 genera, 6 species, 2 variants, with 1 taxa for EN grade, 5 taxa for LC grade, and 2 taxa for VU grade.

본 연구는 경상남도 거창군 우두산의 식물상을 파악하고, 향후 기후 환경변화에 대한 식물상의 동태를 파악하는데 기초자료를 얻고자 실시하였다. 우두산의 식물상을 조사한 결과 90과 234속 313종 3아종 36변종 8품종 360분류군이 출현하였고, 귀화식물은 6과 15속 15종 15분류군이 출 현하여 귀화율은 4.16%로 나타났다. 한국특산식물은 7과 8속 8종 1변종 9분류군, 식물구계학적 특정식물에서 Ⅳ등급은 세뿔투구꽃, 고로쇠나무, 흰참꽃나무, 외잎쑥 등의 4분류군이 출현하였다. Ⅲ등급은 개박달나무, 당조팝나무, 중나리, 광릉용수염 등 4분류군이 출현하였다. Ⅱ등급은 매발톱, 돌양지꽃, 꽃쥐손이, 노랑제비꽃, 큰참나물, 산앵도나무, 붉은병꽃나무, 말나리, 꽃창포, 지리대사초 등 10분류군이 출현하였다. Ⅰ등급은 전나무, 푸조나무, 투구꽃, 세잎꿩의비름, 산조팝나무, 노랑물 봉선, 대팻집나무, 오갈피나무, 들메나무, 애기쉽싸리, 일월비비추, 왕미꾸리광이 등의 12분류군이 출현하였다. 희귀식물은 위기종인 EN등급이 1분류군, 약관심종인 LC등급이 5분류군, 취약종인 VU 등급 2분류군으로 8과 8속 6종 2변종 8분류군이 출현하였다.
