In this paper, I proposed what and how the preacher should preach in the COVID-19 process and in the post-COVID-19 situation. First, I discussed how we should basically understand the context of the infectious disease that the audience is in. Later, I mentioned in two main parts what the preacher should consider important in preaching. One is about pitfalls the preacher should not be dropped in the context of the COVID. The author stressed that the God’s Words should not be distorted, that audience-centered sermons should not be given, and that preaching should not be overly dependent on methodologies. The other mentioned the needs for saints that the preacher must consider and fill in the COVID process and in the post-COVID situation. It is‘the pastoral needs‘, social needs’and‘theological needs. The basic principle that I proposed through this paper is that in times of crisis‘, we should go back to basics,’or‘We must restore the essence of preaching.’I also stressed that the basis or the essence in preaching is‘a God-centered preaching.’I sincerely hope that the Korean church pulpit will not only overcome the COVID crisis with God-centered preaching, but also that the crisis can be an opportunity.

본고에서는 코로나 과정과 코로나 이후의 상황에서 설교자가 중요하게 고려할 부분이 무엇인지 그리 고 무엇을 어떻게 설교해야 하는가를 제안하였다. 먼저 청중이 처해 있는 상황(context)인 전염병에 대해 어떻게 이해해야 할 것인지 논의하였다. 이후에 필자는 코로나 과정과 코로나 이후의 상황에서의 설교와 관련하여 크게 두 가지 부분에 대해 언급하였다. 하나는 코로나 과정과 코로나 이후의 상황에서 설교자가 빠지지 말아야 할 함정이 무엇인지에 대한 것이다. 필자는 말씀을 왜곡하지 말아야 하고, 청중 중심의 설 교를 하지 말아야 하며, 방법론에 지나치게 의존하지 말아야 한다고 강조하였다. 다른 하나는 코로나의 과 정 그리고 코로나 이후의 상황에서 설교자가 반드시 고려해야 하고 채워야 할 성도의 필요에 대해 언급하 였다. 그것은 ‘목회적 필요‘, 사회적 필요,’그리고‘신학적 필요’이다. 본고를 통해 필자가 제안했던 기본적 인 원리는 위기의 시대일수록‘기본으로 돌아가야 한다’또는‘본질을 회복해야 한다’는 것이다. 그리고 그 기본 또는 본질은‘(삼위) 하나님 중심적 설교’임을 강조하였다. 아무쪼록 한국 교회 강단이 하나님 중심 적 설교로 코로나의 위기를 극복할 뿐 아니라 위기가 오히려 기회가 될 수 있기를 간절히 기원한다.
