Stewart Cohen argues that theories of knowledge with a basic knowledge structure fall victim to the problem of easy knowledge. I propose a novel solution to the closure version of the problem. First, I examine in detail closure under known entailment, and deductive closure, and then show that the latter is related to the closure version of the problem. Second, with deductive closure, I make it clear what the closure version of the problem is. Third, I propose a solution to the closure version of the problem by distinguishing dispositions to believe and dispositional beliefs from occurrent beliefs. Finally, I consider three possible objections to this solution, and then provide answers to them.
