[Purpose] The purpose was to identify the characteristics of the MZ generation, which had established itself as a core class of golf consumption, and to study the causal relationship between golf attitude, subjective norm, perceived behavior control, participation intention, and participation behavior. [Method] The MZ generation, born from 1981 to 2000, was selected as the subject of the study. A survey was conducted at golf practice ranges and screen golf courses, as a results total of 360 effective samples were secured. Frequency analysis, Confirmatory factor analysis, Correlation analysis, and Structural equation model analysis were conducted. [Result] First, golf attitude and perceived behavioral control were found to have a positive effect on participation intention, but subjective norms were found to have a negative effect on participation intention. Second, it was found that golf attitude, perceived behavioral control, and participation intention had a positive effect on participatory behavior. [Conclusion] As the MZ generation's participation in golf is showing different consumption behaviors than before, it is necessary to establish a new aspect of golf consumption strategy.

[목적] 최근 골프 시장 소비의 핵심계층으로 자리매김한 MZ세대의 특성을 알아보고, 계획행동이론을 적용하여 골 프 태도와 주관적 규범, 지각된 행동통제, 참여의도, 참여행동 간의 인과관계를 규명을 통해 MZ세대의 소비행동 을 파악하는데 목적이 있다. [방법] 1981년부터 2000년까지 출생한 MZ세대를 연구대상으로 하여 서울, 경기, 충청 지역의 골프연습장 및 스크린골프장에서 설문조사를 진행했으며 총 360부를 유효 표본을 확보했다. 빈도분석, 확 인적요인분석, 상관관계분석, 구조방정식모형 분석을 실시하였다. [결과] 도출된 결과를 살펴보면 첫째, 골프 태도, 지각된 행동통제는 참여의도에 정적(+)으로 영향이 있는 것으로 나타났으나 주관적 규범은 참여의도에 부적(-)으 로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 골프 태도, 지각된 행동통제, 참여의도는 참여행동에 정적(+)으로 영향 을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. [결론] MZ세대의 골프 참여는 기존과 다른 소비행동 보이고 있어 새로운 측면의 골 프 소비전략을 수립해야할 필요성이 있으며, 이러한 관점에서 본 연구 결과가 골프 산업 발전에 기여할 수 있는 근거자료로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.
