This study attempted to find out if social support double-mediates self-esteem and self-control to affect Internet overindulgence in high school students. 123 high school students in Uijeongbu area were sampled and analyzed. For the analysis method, Hayes (2013)'s PROCESS macro, which is based on regression analysis, was used. The analysis results are as follows. The social support of high school students didn't directly influence Internet overindulgence. The two channels that influence self-esteem and self-control through simple mediation, respectively, were found to be statistically meaningful. The serial double mediation channel, which mediates and influences self-esteem and self-control in turn, was found to be statistically meaningful. On that basis, practical suggestions for social welfare were made.

본 연구는 고등학생을 대상으로 사회적지지가 자아존중감과 자기통제를 이중매개하 여 인터넷 과몰입에 영향을 미치는지를 밝히고자 의정부지역 고등학생 123명을 대상 으로 표집하여 분석하였다. 분석방법은 회귀분석에 바탕을 두고 있는 Hayes(2013)의 PROCESS macro를 활용하였다. 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 고등학생의 사회적지지는 인터넷 과몰입에 직접 영향을 미치지는 않았으나 자아존중감과 자기통제를 각각 단순 매개 하여 영향을 미치는 두 개의 경로와 자아존중감과 자기통제를 차레대로 매개하여 영향을 미치는 직렬 이중매개 경로 하나가 통계적으로 의미가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이를 바탕으로 사회복지실천적 제언을 하였다.
