The purpose of this study is to present a plan to develop Korean interpretation and translation textbooks that can be used in Korean interpretation and translation classes at Vietnamese universities. For this purpose, in this study, the present condition of Korean interpretation and translation classes and textbooks at 16 universities in Vietnam were investigated, and a survey was conducted targeting 30 teachers who were teaching the classes. As a result, teachers sympathized with the necessity for textbooks for Korean interpretation and translation, and they hoped that textbooks containing various types of exercises and tasks. In addition, through interviews with five Vietnamese teachers, several implications were derived: Interpretation and translation textbooks should be developed to suit the class situation and the characteristics of learners, and topics and activities that take into account the authenticity of interpretation and translation activities should be sufficiently included in the textbook. This study is meaningful in that it collected local teachers’ needs and difficulties through surveys and interviews. However, there is a limit in that it was difficult to draw various opinions from Vietnamese university teachers due to the small number of subjects. In the future, it is expected that a model of an actual Korean interpretation and translation textbook will be presented and discussions on specific methods to use it in the educational field continue.

본 연구는 베트남 내 대학에 개설된 한국어 통번역 수업에서 활용할 수 있는 한국어 통번역 교재 개발 방안을 제시하는 데에 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 베트남 16개 대학의 한국어 통번역 수업 현황과 교재에 대해 조사하였으며 해당 수업을 운영 하고 있는 교원 30명을 대상으로 설문조사를 진행하였다. 그 결과 교사들은 한국어 통 번역 교재의 필요성에 공감하고 있었으며 이론보다는 다양한 유형의 연습 및 과제를 포함하는 교재가 개발되기를 희망하고 있었다. 또한 5명의 베트남 교원을 대상으로 진 행한 인터뷰를 통해 수업 현황과 학습자의 특성에 맞는 통번역 교재가 개발되어야 한 다는 점, 통번역 활동의 실제성을 고려한 주제와 활동이 교재 내에 충분히 포함되어야 한다는 점 등 총 5가지의 시사점을 도출하였다. 이 연구는 설문조사와 인터뷰를 통해 현지의 요구와 어려움에 대해 다양하게 수집하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다. 그러나 대 상자의 수가 적어 베트남 대학 교원들의 다양한 의견을 이끌어 내지 못했다는 점에서 는 한계가 존재한다. 추후 본 논문의 내용을 토대로 실제 한국어 통번역 교재의 모델이 제시되고, 이를 교육 현장에서 활용할 수 있는 구체적인 방안이 논의될 수 있기를 기대 한다.
