This study is a secondary data analysis study using the panel survey on the life of the disabled to determine the relationship between disability acceptance, depression, self-esteem, family strengths, disability-related daily life restrictions, economic difficulties, current life satisfaction, and suicidal ideation. In this study, logistic regression analysis was performed to identify factors affecting suicidal ideation of disabled people using the SPSS/WIN 21.0 program. As a result of the study, depression was found to be the most influential factor in suicidal ideation of the disabled, and the depression of the disabled with suicidal ideation was 5.59 times higher than that of the disabled without suicidal ideation. On the other hand, family health (0.63 times), self-esteem (0.66 times) and current life satisfaction (0.89 times) were statistically significant. The results of this study are significant in that they provided basic data on the factors affecting suicidal ideation of the disabled in Korea. In addition, the basis for the development and application of suicide prevention programs using outcome variables and policy improvement was prepared.

본 연구는 장애인의 장애수용, 우울, 자아존중감, 가족건강성, 장애 관련 일상생활 제한 정도, 경제생 활 관련 어려움, 현재 삶의 만족도 정도와 자살생각 간의 관계를 확인하고자 장애인삶 패널조사를 이용한 이차 자료분석 연구이다. 본 연구는 SPSS/WIN 21.0 프로그램을 이용하여 장애인의 자살생각 에 미치는 영향 요인을 파악하기 위해 로지스틱 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과, 장애인의 자살생 각에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 요인으로는 우울로 나타났으며, 자살생각이 없는 장애인에 비해 자살생 각이 있는 장애인의 우울이 5.59배 높게 나타났다. 반면, 가족건강성(0.63배), 자아존중감(0.66배)과 현재 삶의 만족도(0.89배)가 자살생각이 있는 장애인이 낮게 나타났다. 본 연구결과는 국내 장애인의 자살생각에 영향을 미치는 변인에 대한 기초적인 자료를 제공하였다는 데에 의의가 있다. 또한, 결과 변인을 이용한 자살예방 프로그램 개발 및 적용과 정책개선의 근거를 마련하였다.
