This study was conducted to empirically investigate the relationship between winter sports events, regional development, sports tourism, and resident cooperation. To achieve this objective, residents who live in Beijing and Zhangjiakou, China and regularly participate in winter sports were selected as the study subjects. A survey was conducted focusing on the selected research subjects, and a total of 484 copies were used for the final analysis, excluding insincere responses. For data processing of the questionnaire, the following conclusions were obtained by performing frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, reliability verification, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis. First, as for the correlation between winter sports events and regional development, sports tourism and resident cooperation, regional development and sports tourism showed a partial positive correlation, and sports facilities showed a positive correlation between resident cooperation. Second, all sub-variables of winter sports events had a positive effect on transportation development. While international exchanges affected industrial development, international exchanges and technological development affected environmental development. Third, the development of sports facilities and technology in winter sports events had a positive effect on sports experience, and international exchange had a positive effect on sports viewing. Fourth, sports facilities and international exchanges of winter sports events had a positive effect on resident cooperation.

이 연구는 동계스포츠이벤트와 지역발전, 스포츠 관광 및 주민협력의 관계를 실증적으로 규명하기 위해 실시하였 다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위하여 중국 베이징과 장자커우에 거주하면서 정기적으로 동계스포츠에 참여하는 주민들을 연구대상으로 선정하였다. 선정된 연구대상을 중심으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 불성실한 응답을 제외한 총 484부를 최종분석에 사용하였다. 설문지의 자료처리는 빈도분석, 탐색적 요인분석, 신뢰도 검증, 상관관계분석, 다중회귀분석을 실시하여 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 첫째, 동계스포츠이벤트와 지역발전, 스포츠 관광 및 주민협력의 상관관계는 지역 발전과 스포츠 관광은 부분적인 정적 상관관계가 나타났으며, 체육시설은 주민협력 간 정적 상관관계가 나타났다. 둘째, 동계스포츠이벤트 하위변인 모두는 교통발전에 정적 영향을 미쳤다. 국제교류는 산업발전에 영향을 미치는 반면 국제교 류와 기술발달은 환경발전에 영향을 미쳤다. 셋째, 동계스포츠이벤트의 체육시설과 기술발달은 스포츠체험에 정적 영향 을 미쳤으며, 국제교류는 스포츠관람에 정적 영향을 미쳤다. 넷째, 동계스포츠이벤트의 체육시설과 국제교류는 주민협력 에 정적 영향을 미쳤다.
