This study is a non-equivalent control group pretest-posttest design similar experimental study to verify the effects of volunteer club incorporating nudge strategies on aggression, self-esteem, and school life satisfaction of middle school students. From March 31, 2021 to July 30, 2021, it was conducted as a club activity during the creative experience time, which was held on average 2.5 times or more every month for 2 hours on Friday afternoons, a total of 12 times. The data of 35 in the experimental group and 35 in the control group were collected. As a result of the study, first, the experimental group who participated in the volunteer club using the nudge strategy had a decrease in aggression than the control group, and the self-esteem and school life satisfaction increased. This study is meaningful in proving that it is a very useful educational tool for forming good habits if it induces behavior to choose the right values and identity through a free and gentle nudge, rather than the rigid method of the past in middle school. The purpose is to help establish policy measures and to emphasize the justification of education.

본 연구는 넛지 전략을 도입한 봉사 동아리 활동이 중학생의 공격성, 자존감, 학교생활만족도에 미치 는 효과를 검증하기 위해 비동등성 대조군 전후 설계로 계획된 유사실험연구이다. 실험중재는 2021 년 3월 31일부터 7월 30일까지 금요일 오후 2시간 동안 진행되는 창의적 체험 활동시간을 이용하여 매달 평균 2.5회 이상 총 12회 실시되었다. 연구대상은 실험군 35명, 대조군 35명으로 공격성, 자존감 및 학교생활만족도를 사전, 사후에 측정하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 넛지 전략을 활용한 봉사동아리 활동에 참여한 실험군의 공격성이 대조군보다 감소되었으며, 자존감과 학교생활만족도는 높아졌다. 본 연구는 중학생들이 올바른 가치관과 정체성을 선택하도록 도와주는 자유롭고 유연한 방식의 넛 지 전략이 좋은 습관을 형성하는 데 아주 유용한 교육적 도구임을 증명하는 데 의의가 있고, 학교현 장의 실천적 그리고 정책적 방안 수립에 도움을 주고자 한다.
