William Blake begins to depict definitely his own original mythical universe in his later poem, Milton: a Poem in 2 Books. His great universe is divided into Heaven, Hell, Golgonooja, Beula, Ulro, Generation, and the earth, and the human body is seen as a miniature universe. It is because Blake’s poetry about the universe is not systematically narrated, as, receiving his poetic inspiration, Blake dictates his poem.
