This study aimed to explore how adolescents’ school happiness affects the suicidal ideation and to test the moderation effects of gender and resilience therein. The survey was conducted for the high school students in Gyeonggi province between June and December in 2022 and the multiple additive moderation effects from the data of 1,259 students among them were analyzed. The results are as follows: First, the main effects of school happiness on the suicidal ideation were statistically significant. The higher the school happiness became, the lower the levels of the suicidal ideation of adolescents became. Second, it was found that the lower levels of school happiness led to the higher levels of suicidal ideation. The influence of the lower level of school happiness on suicidal ideation was more powerful for the students who have the low level of resilience or are female, that is to say, even though they were in the same level of school happiness, ones who had the low level of resilience or are female were more likely to have suicidal ideation more. Based on the results of this study, the measures to prevent adolescents from committing suicide were discussed and the suggestions for the future research were made.

본 연구의 목적은 청소년의 학교행복감이 자살생각에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 살펴보고 이 때, 성별과 회복탄력성의 조절 효과를 검증하는 것이다. 이를 위해 2020년 6월부터 12월까지 경기도 지역의 고등학생들을 대상으로 설문 조사를 실시하여 1,259명으로부터 수집한 자료로 다중가산조절 효과를 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 첫째, 학교행복감이 자살생각에 미치는 주 효과는 통계적으로 유의미 하였으며 학교행복감이 높을수록 청소년들의 자살생각의 수준은 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 학교 행복감이 낮아질수록 자살생각의 수준은 더 높아지는데 그 영향력은 회복탄력성 수준이 낮고 여학 생의 경우 훨씬 더 강하게 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 학교행복감 수준이 동일하다 하더라 도 회복탄력성이 낮거나 여학생의 경우 자살생각을 더 많이 하게 되는 것으로 검증되었다. 이상의 연구결과를 바탕으로 청소년의 자살 예방을 위한 위기관리 실천 방안들에 대해 논의하였으며 추후 연구에 대해 제언하였다.
