The television drama made reversal by providing the viewers with distorted information on purpose by presenting an Alzheimer's patient as the main character. This study set out to reexamine the drama with a focus on this narration strategy and implications. In the , events are divided into the ones in which the main character distorts past experiences, the ones in which she distorts current experiences, the ones that did not happen but are depicted as if they had happened, and the ones that did actually happen and are captured by the camera instead of the main character. These events mislead the viewers, functioning individually and in combinations. It is important to point out that the narratives of the drama are organized in a way that the viewers will not have a sense of betrayal after reversal. Underplots are placed in ways that the viewers will not suspect, but they are already revealed. They offer both intellectual and dramatic fun through the re-signifying process. The drama also offsets the viewers's psychological resistance by emphasizing the emotion of remorse at the bottom of the main character's distorted memories by her own misunderstanding. In the , this reversal makes the viewers recall the way that human memories are formed. Given that every human being is self-centered, they have the convention of distorting their memories. depicts the conditions and goals of memory distortion, and the goals are deeply connected to emotions. Love, yearning, lingering attachment, and other emotions of the main character with Alzheimer’s disease naturally distort her pas memories. The drama, however, shows her life attitude of recognizing her past as it is instead of passing an ethical judgment of her memory distortions.
