The COVID-19 outbreak which started at the end of December 2019 has brought panic and crisis to the world. And it has weakened churches and Christians around the world, restricted all social activities, and greatly reduced missions. However it is positive that the concept of missionary work is changing due to the pandemic and that the traditional concept of mission is creating opportunities for new change. In the midst of this, prevention for COVID-19 is entering a transition period with a policy of easing social distance which is expected to have a significant effect on missions. Modern people regard health as the most sensitive and worrying subject. This also applies to the mission field. The missionaries who served on each continent also suffered difficulties due to COVID-19. Many missionaries have been victims of COVID-19 and are experiencing direct and indirect difficulties in their ministry. Therefore this thesis intends to consider not only the necessity of an emergency medical support system for overseas missionaries but also the emergency medical system, Air ambulance transport, medical support and current status in the COVID-19 situation. The denomination(missionary organization) is providing emergency medical assistance to overseas missionaries in the COVID-19 situation, such as Air ambulance support, based on a new awareness of infectious diseases. It is also important for missionaries to prepare themselves for overcoming the crisis. The change of churches, mission organizations and missionaries should show a new and rapid paradigm shift, namely the transformation of life saving work and missionary work restoration. Currently people around the world are in a situation where they are transitioning from the fear of COVID-19 to With COVID-19. God continues to call prophets and His people, and He hopes that they will become the main agent of missions. Medical support for missionaries is not only a motivation to encourage participation in the mission of the kingdom of God but it is also a practice of God’s love. The work of love is related to the kingdom of God and will become the motive for creating a new heaven and a new earth(1 Peter 3:15).

2019년 12월 말 발생한 코로나19는 전 세계에 두려움과 공포, 위기를 가져왔다. 그리고 전 세계의 교회와 그리스도인들을 위축시켜 왔고, 모든 사회활동 또한 제한했으며, 선교 또한 크게 위축되었다. 그러나 팬데믹으 로 인해 선교사역의 개념이 바뀌고 있으며, 전통적 선교개념이 새롭게 정 립되는 기회를 만들고 있다는 점은 긍정적인 면이라 할 수 있다. 이런 가운 데 코로나19에 대한 방역 강화가 사회적 거리 완화 정책으로 전환기를 맞 고 있으며, 이는 선교에도 상당한 영향을 끼칠 것으로 보인다. 현대인들에게 가장 민감하고 염려스러운 주제는 건강이다. 이는 선교 현장에서도 마찬가지로 적용된다. 코로나19로 인해 대륙별로 사역하던 선 교사들 역시 어려움을 겪었다. 많은 사역자가 코로나19에 희생되었으며, 사역에 직·간접적인 어려움을 겪고 있다. 이에 이 글에서는 해외선교사를 위한 긴급 의료 지원체계의 필요성과 코로나19 상황에서 이뤄지는 긴급 의료지원 체계와 현황, 에어앰뷸런스 이 송과 의료지원 방안을 고찰하고자 한다. 교단(선교단체)에서는 감염병에 대한 새로운 인식을 바탕으로 에어엠뷸런스 지원 등 코로나19 상황에서 해 외선교사 긴급 의료 지원이 이뤄지고 있다. 여기에 선교사 스스로 위기 극 복을 위한 준비를 마련하는 것도 중요한 일이다. 교회와 선교단체, 선교사 들의 변화는, 생명 구원과 사역 회복의 전환이라는 새롭고 신속한 패러다 임의 전환을 보여주고 있다. 현재 전 세계는 코로나19의 공포에서 벗어나 위드 코로나로 전환되는 상황에 있다. 하나님은 여전히 선지자들과 하나님의 사람을 부르시고, 이 들이 선교의 주체가 되기를 희망하고 계신다. 선교사 의료지원은 하나님 나라 선교 참여를 독려하는 원동력이 될 뿐 아니라 사랑을 실천하는 것이다. 사랑의 사역은 하나님 나라와 연관되며 새 하늘과 새 땅을 창조(벧전 3:15)하는 모티브가 될 것이다
