[Purpose] The purpose of this study is to provide basic data on finiding specific and effective ways to develop PST by in-depth identification of negative experience factors and discontinue experience by KLPGA players during PST. [Method] For the results, the questions were set for 6 KLPGA players, and data were collected through semi-structured questionnaires, and the collected data were derived through inductive categorization. [Result] Results presented a total of 8 discontinue factors: lack of need for PST, restrictions on participation in PST, difficulty in application, mental stress, negative perception around, excessive dependence, lack of expertise, and inappropriate attitude. [Conclusion] The reason for the discontinue of PST for KLPGA players are as follows: First, players prioritize technical training over PST and do not use it well in matches. Second, there are restriction that make it impossible to immerse in PST. Finally, it is due to the sport psychology counselor’s lack of expertise in golf and poor training programs and attitudes.

[목적] KLPGA 선수들이 심리기술훈련 시 경험한 부정적 경험요인과 심리기술훈련 중단 요인을 심층적으로 파악하 여 심리기술훈련에 대한 구체적인 발전방안과 효과적인 방법 모색에 기초자료를 제공하고자 한다. [방법] 결과 도출 을 위해 KLPGA 선수 6명을 대상으로 연구문제를 설정하여, 반구조화된 질문지를 통하여 자료를 수집하였고, 수집된 자료는 귀납적 범주화를 통해 결과를 도출하였다. [결과] 도출된 결과로는 심리기술훈련의 필요성 부족, 심리기술훈 련 참여 제약, 적용의 어려움, 정신적 스트레스, 주변의 부정적 인식, 과대한 의존, 전문성 부족 및 부적합한 태도와 같이 총 8가지 중단 요인으로 나타났다. [결론] KLPGA 선수들의 심리기술훈련 중단 요인은 첫째, 선수들이 심리기술 훈련보다는 기술훈련을 더 우선시하고, 시합 때 잘 활용하지 못하기 때문이다. 둘째, 심리기술훈련에 몰입할 수 없도 록 만드는 제약들이 있다. 마지막으로 상담사의 골프에 대한 부족한 전문성과 체계적이지 못한 훈련프로그램 및 태 도 때문이다.
