In addition to nuclear weapons in the 21st century, various weapon systems are being advanced at high speed. It may seem cliche to discuss guerrilla warfare in these modern wars. However, in the war in Afghanistan, which ended in August 2021, the Taliban guerrilla war was still powerful. The purpose of this study is to analyze general attributes by considering the a few guerrilla warfare cases, and to predict guerrilla war patterns on the Korean Peninsula. Through the study, four results were derived on North Korea's prediction of guerrilla warfare. First, it will be carried out continuously for a long time in the pre-war stage in terms of the dryness of large-scale conventional warfare. Second, they will carry out guerrilla warfare in the form of insurgency. Third, unlike in the past, North Korea will focus on the urban guerrilla war. Fourth, it is expected that guerrilla warfare in an integrated form with hybrid warfare such as cyber warfare and psychological warfare will be carried out.
