The Effect of Screen Tourism Visitors’ Images on Tourism Motivation and Satisfaction

The objective of this study is to ensure that their visits lead to continuous visits, not just one-time visits. It is also essential for these foreign tourists to return to their home countries and spread the positive word of mouth effect to acquaintances who have not visited Korea yet. based on 12 interviewees, this study has important implications as below. Since the 2000s, domestic screen tourism has successfully attracted numerous tourists from all over Asia due to the influence of the Korean Wave, especially the popularity of dramas and movies. Because of this influence, many tourists from Asia visit domestic screen tourism filming sites. Therefore, this study aims to hear systematic and comprehensive opinions on the advantages, disadvantages, and characteristics of domestic screen tourism by organizing the objective opinions of the interviewees on how domestic screen tourism should proceed. This study shows that foreign tourists who have visited domestic screen tourism filming sites want to experience various tourism programs at movie or drama filming sites. It turns out that they prefer to stay in the screen tourism area and spend a long time in the area. This study will help foreign tourists perceive domestic screen tourism as a more attractive tourist destination.
