The primary purpose of the study was to explore the relationship between autonomy-support coaching behavior perceived by judokas, grit, mindset, and competition with the aim of verifying the mediating effect of grit and mindset in the relationship between autonomy-support coaching behavior and judokas' tenacity. 570 research participants, who were high school and university judokas and were registered in the Korea Judo Association at the time of the data collection, were recruited to achieve the research aims. Exploratory factor analysis, correlation analysis, and SPSS process macro were used to analyze parallel multiple mediation effects using SPSS 21.0. The results of the analysis are as follows. First, it was found that the autonomy-support coaching behavior perceived by the judokas had a positively(+) effect on the grit, growth mindset, and tenacity, and negatively(-) effected on fixed mindset. Second, the grit played a mediating role in the relationship between the autonomy-support coaching behavior perceived by the judokas and the tenacity. Third, it was found that the growth mindset played a mediating role and the fixed mindset had no mediating effect in the relationship between the autonomy-support coaching behavior perceived by the judokas and the tenacity.

이 연구는 유도 선수가 인지한 자율적 코칭행동과 그릿, 마인드셋, 승부근성의 관계를 규명하고 지도자의 코칭행 동과 선수의 승부근성의 관계에서 그릿 및 마인드셋의 매개효과를 검증하는데 목적이 있다. 이러한 연구목적을 달성하기 위해 대한유도회에 등록이 되어 있는 고등, 대학부 유도선수를 연구대상으로 하여 570명에게 설문지를 통해 자료를 수집 하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS Version 21.0 통계 프로그램을 통해 빈도분석 및 탐색적 요인분석, Cronbach's α, 상관관 계분석, SPSS Process macro를 사용하였으며, 다음과 같은 결론을 도출하였다. 첫째, 유도 선수가 인지한 자율적 코칭 행동은 그릿, 성장마인드셋, 승부근성에 정적(+) 영향을 미치며, 고정마인드셋에 부적(-) 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났 다. 둘째, 자율적 코칭행동과 승부근성의 관계에서 그릿은 매개역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 자율적 코칭행동과 승부근성의 관계에서 성장마인드셋은 매개역할을 하며, 고정마인드셋은 매개효과가 없는 것으로 나타났다.
