It aims to provide practical data with which it is possible to overcome difficulties in managing Taekwondo gymnasium, when the pandemic phenomenon recurs. It recruited 519 parents of trainees as the subjects, who are enrolled in Taekwondo gymnasium located in the metropolitan area. A questionnaire survey of them was conducted by using the convenience sampling method, among the non-probability sampling from Jan. to Feb., 2021, the period during which the condition of COVID-19 was alleviated and the class was reopened in Taekwondo gymnasium, with all items scored on a 5-point Likert scale. First, the perception among the understanding of COVID-19 has an effect on the continuous participation intention. Second, the risk perception has a mediating effect on the relationship between the understanding of COVID-19 and the continuous participation intention. Third, the safety consciousness also has a mediating effect on it. On the basis of the findings, this study suggests the measures for Taekwondo gymnasium to understand the condition of COVID19 and effectively overcome the pandemic phenomenon which will recur in the future.

본 연구의 목적은 태권도 수련생 학부모가 지각한 코로나19 이해도에 따른 위험지각과 안전의식의 관계를 파악하 고, 태권도장의 위기관리에 효율적인 대처방안을 제시한다. 이를 통해 COVID19 현상이 재발생하였을 시 태권도장 경영 의 어려움을 극복할 수 있는 실무적 자료를 제공하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 수행하기 위해 수도권 이내 태권도장 수련생 학부모 519명을 연구대상자로 선정하였다. 조사기간은 코로나19 상황이 완화되고, 태권도장에서 수업이 재개되었던 2021년 1월~2월까지 조사하였다. 표집방법은 비확률표본추출법 중 편의표본추출법을 사용하여 설문조사를 진행하였 고, 모든 항목은 Likert 5점 척도로 구성하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 코로나19 이해도 중 인식은 지속적 참여의도에 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 위험지각은 코로나19 이해도와 지속적 참여의도의 관계에서 매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 안전 의식은 코로나19 이해도와 지속적 참여의도의 관계에서 매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 연구결과를 바탕으로 태권도 장은 코로나19 상황을 이해하고, 향후 재도래할 COVID19 상황을 효과적으로 극복할 방안들을 제시하였다.
