Traditionally, Confucian scholars have developed cosmology from the standpoint of substantial principles[Shil Li], criticizing Feng Shui and Ming Li as insensitive sorceries. This paper reveals that philosophy and aesthetics of Feng Shui and MingLi are necessary to escape from such criticism. First, as one of the common methodologies, the theory mentioned as a condition for creating good works in the Eastern Scholar Calligraphy And Painting creative theory, that is, the reason for "Reads of books and Travels of Miles" suggested by Donng Qíchnng. Next, in more detail, the conditions for seeking philosophy and aesthetics of Feng Shui were sought. As an alternative, this paper cited an example of what areas have contributed positively in terms of oriental culture and art. Accordingly, it was revealed that it is necessary to expand feng shui through the reason for art feng shui. The following conditions for seeking philosophy and aesthetics of MingLi were presented. In this regard, it was suggested to apply the thoughts and wisdom of Eastern calligraphy and art that emphasizes the aspects of personality education through personality theory and temperament change theory to the MingLi dimension. In conclusion, through the philosophical and aestheticization of Feng Shui and MingLi as described above, we suggest the need for a new dimension of Feng Shui and MingLi today as the AI era arrives.

전통적으로 유학자들은 ‘실리(實理)’라는 입장에서 우주론을 전개하면서 풍수와 명리가 혹세무민하는 사술(邪術)이라고 비판한다. 본 논문은 이같은 비판에서 벗어나 려면 풍수와 명리에 대한 철학화와 미학화가 필요하다는 것을 밝힌 것이다. 먼저 그 공 통된 방법론의 하나로, 동양의 문인서화 창작이론에서 좋은 작품을 창작하기 위한 조 건으로 거론되는 이론, 즉 명대 동기창(董其昌)의 ‘독만권서, 행만리로’ 사유를 제시하 였다. 다음 이런 점을 보다 구체적으로 풍수의 철학화·미학화 모색 조건 단상을 모색하 였다. 그 대안의 하나로 동양문화와 예술차원에서 긍정적으로 기여한 분야가 무엇인가 의 하나의 예로 예술풍수 사유를 통한 풍수의 외연 확장이 필요하다는 것을 밝혔다. 다 음 명리의 철학화·미학화 모색 조건 단상을 모색하였다. 이런 점에 대해서는 인품론과 기질변화론을 통한 인성교육적 측면을 강조하는 동양 서화예술이 갖는 사유와 지혜를 명리 차원에 적용함으로써 명리가 갖는 긍정적인 점을 밝힐 필요가 있음을 밝혔다. 결 론적으로, 이상과 같은 풍수와 명리에 대한 철학화와 미학화를 통해 AI 시대가 도래하 는 오늘날 새로운 차원의 풍수와 명리가 필요함을 제시하였다.
