This study has been working in a military band for more than 10 years and has performed various duties such as performance officer, platoon leader, staff member, and administrative assistant officer. It started with thinking about the room. A study was conducted on ways to efficiently operate the military band based on the limitations of operating the military band, such as the continued reduction of the military manpower in connection with the current national defense reform and the absence of musical instrument majors. Therefore, in this study, we first compared schools for each division in the Army, and looked at the operation status of the military band and non-enrollment system of the Army's military band, and the organization of domestic and foreign military bands. I researched the school. Accordingly, we have presented the necessary development plan and expected effects when establishing a military music training center in the army, and I hope that it will be an opportunity to take another leap forward while rethinking the reality of the military band. Furthermore, I hope that it will serve as a stepping stone for the advancement of the military.

본 연구는 군악대에서 10년 이상의 근무를 해왔으며 연주관, 소대장, 참모부, 행정보급관 등 다 양한 직책의 임무를 수행하며, 모병 부대로서 모병 심사평가 등 다양한 경험으로 군악대를 운영 하면서 제한되는 점들과 해결방안에 대하여 고민하면서 시작되었다. 현재 국방개혁과 연계되어 계속되는 군 인력감소와 악기전공자의 부재 등 군악대를 운영하면서 제한되는 점들을 토대로 효율적으로 운영 할 수 있는 방안에 대해 연구하였다. 이에 본 연구에서는 먼저 우리 육군 내 각 병과별 학교를 비교해보았으며, 우리 육군 군악대의 모병제와 비모병제 부대의 운영현황과 국내·외 군악대의 편성을 알아보고, 마지막으로 국내에서 군악 교육대를 운영하는 해군 군악 교 육대를 조사해보았다. 이에 따라, 육군 내 군악 교육대를 설립 시 필요한 개발방안, 기대효과를 제시해보았으며, 이에 따른 군악대 현실을 다시한번 생각하면서 한 걸음 더 도약할 수 있는 계 기가 되었으면 좋겠다. 나아가 군 발전에 한걸음 도약할 수 있는 발판이 되기를 바란다.
