This study conducted a systematic review on the topic of clinical interventions for offenders with mental illness by using the literature published between 2010 and 2020. This study utilized PICOS methods suggested by Campbell Collaboration to select the literature, and the final sample of 15 studies were chosen. The main findings of the systematic review with 15 studies were as follows. First, approximately 1.6 studies were published on the topic of clinical interventions for offenders with mental illness and in particular, research on effectiveness of therapeutic programs has conducted since 2015. Second, 14 out of 15 studies(93.3%) used quantitative research methods while one study(ㅇ6.7%) used qualitative research methods. Third, in terms of research theme, more than a half studies were conducted on the topic of specific factors related to recidivism( 26.7%) and effectiveness of therapeutic programs(26.7%). Based upon these results, this study discussed the implications for further research on effective therapeutic interventions for offenders with mental illness.

본 연구는 정신질환 피치료감호자의 임상적 개입에 관한 연구 동향을 분석하기 위해 2010년부터 2020년까지 국내에서 출판된 연구논문에 대한 체계적 문헌고찰을 수행하였다. 분석을 위한 연 구문헌 선정은 Campbell Collaboration이 제시한 PICOS 방법을 활용하였으며, 15편의 연구문헌을 최종적으로 선정하였다. 15편 의 연구문헌을 대상으로 한 체계적 문헌고찰의 주요결과는 다음 과 같다. 첫째, 정신질환 피치료감호자를 대상으로 한 임상적 개 입에 관한 연구는 2010년부터 2020년까지 연평균 1.5편의 연구 가 시행되었으며, 특히 2015년 이후 치료프로그램의 효과성에 대한 연구가 수행되었다. 둘째, 총 15편의 연구 중 14편(93.3%) 의 연구가 양적연구방법을 활용하였으며, 질적연구방법을 활용 한 연구는 1편(6.7%)에 불과했다. 셋째, 연구주제와 관련하여, 재범관련 특정영향요인에 관한 연구(26.7%)와 치료프로그램의 효과성에 대한 연구(26.7%)가 전체 연구의 53.4%를 차지하였 다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 정신질환 피치료감호자를 대상으로 한 효과적인 치료적 개입을 위한 후속연구의 방향성을 논의하였다.
