Objective : The purpose of this study was conducted to investigate perception and needs for continuing education of occupational therapists. Methods : We conducted an online questionnaire survey of 432 occupational therapist. Data were collected from June 15 to 29, 2021. The questionnaire consisted of a total of 31 questions, consisting of 8 questions for general characteristics, each 8 questions for perception and needs of continuing education, 7 questions for needs for management and participation in continuing education. An independent t-test was conducted to compare the perception and needs according to gender. In addition, a one-way ANOVA test was conducted to compare the differences according to general characteristics, and the post-analysis was analyzed by the Scheffé test. Results : The perception of continuing education averaged 2.53, needs for continuing education was 3.24. Areas with a large difference in perception and needs were the community area and the mental health area, and areas with a small difference were the humanities area and the physical disability area. Perception of continuing education showed significant differences according to gender, age, education level, career, and position of work, and needs showed significant differences in age and position of work. The reason for completing continuing education was 'to acquire credits' and 'to use in the current job', the needs for non-face-to-face education was higher than that of face-to-face education, and case study and lecture methods were required. Conclusion : For the development of continuing education for occupational therapist, it is necessary to develop various continuing education programs and to reflect the needs of occupational therapist.

목적 : 국내 작업치료사의 보수교육에 대한 인식을 파악하고 요구도를 조사하고자 하였다. 연구방법 : 국내에서 작업치료사로 업무를 수행하고 있는 432명을 대상으로 2021년 6월 15일부터 6월 29일까지 설문조 사를 실시하였다. 설문 문항은 총 31문항으로 일반적 특성 8문항, 보수교육에 대한 인식도와 요구도가 각각 8문항, 보수교육 운영 및 참여 의사에 대한 요구도가 7문항으로 구성되었다. 성별에 따른 인식도와 요구도를 비교하기 위해 독립표본 t-test를 실시하였고, 이외 일반적 특성에 따른 문항 간 차이를 비교하기 위해 one-way ANOVA 검정을 실시하였으며, 사후분석은 Scheffé test로 분석하였다. 결과 : 보수교육에 대한 인식도는 평균평점 2.53점이었고, 요구도는 3.24점으로 나타났다. 인식도와 요구도의 차이가 큰 영역은 지역사회 영역과 정신 건강 영역이었고, 차이가 작은 영역은 인문 소양 영역과 신체장애 영역이었다. 보수 교육에 대한 인식도는 성별, 연령, 교육 수준, 임상 경력, 직위에 따라 유의미한 차이를 보였고, 요구도는 연령과 직위 에서 유의한 차이를 나타냈다. 작업치료사가 보수교육을 이수하는 이유는 ‘학점 취득’과 ‘현 직무에 활용하기 위해’가 많았고, 대면 교육보다 비대면 교육의 요구도가 높았으며, 사례 연구와 강의 방식의 교육을 요구하였다. 결론 : 작업치료 보수교육의 발전을 위해서 다양한 교육 프로그램의 개발과 작업치료사의 요구를 반영한 교육운영 플 랫폼의 개발이 필요하다.
