Information alienation continues as administrative computerization accelerates due to COVID-19 and information technologies such as vaccine passes and kiosks become commonplace. Although the government's information education was conducted to resolve the information alienation phenomenon, the elderly were still the lowest among the digital information levels of the information alienated group, and the information gap of the elderly is still a problem. This study aims to analyze trends through social network analysis on the digital information gap phenomenon of the elderly. For the study, Naver News articles for 26 years from 1996 to 2021 were collected and the relationship between major keywords related to the information gap of the elderly was analyzed and visualized using a social network analysis program. As a result, the information gap for the elderly for 26 years was divided into five categories: types of information gap, support projects, support environments, social problems, and other problems. Through this study, it is expected to help establish the direction and resolution policy of research on the digital information gap phenomenon of the elderly in the future. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to understand the trend of the digital information gap phenomenon of the elderly through social network analysis and to propose academic and practical implications for narrowing the digital information gap of the elderly in general society.

코로나로 인해 행정 전산화가 가속되고 백신 패스, 키오스크와 같은 정보 기술이 일상화되면 서 정보 소외현상이 지속되고 있다. 정보 소외현상의 해소를 위한 정부의 정보화 교육이 이루어 졌으나 정보 취약 계층의 디지털 정보화 수준 중 고령층이 여전히 가장 낮게 나타났고, 일상에 서의 정보화로 인해 고령층의 정보격차 현상은 여전히 문제가 되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 고령층 의 디지털 정보 격차 현상에 대해서 사회연결망 분석을 통한 동향분석을 목적을 두고 있다. 연 구를 위해 1996년부터 2021년까지인 26년간의 네이버 뉴스 기사를 수집하고 사회연결망 분석 프로그램을 활용하여 고령층 정보격차에 관련된 주요 키워드 간의 관계성을 분석하였고 시각화 하여 나타내었다. 그 결과, 26년간의 고령층의 정보격차는 정보격차를 겪는 유형, 지원 사업, 지 원환경, 사회적 문제, 기타 문제의 5가지 분류로 나누어 파악할 수 있었고, 국가 정보화 기본계 획에 따라 6분기로 나누어 진행한 분석에서는 기술의 발전과 시대적 상황이 반영된 키워드를 확인할 수 있었다. 본 연구를 통해 향후 고령층의 디지털 정보 격차 현상에 관한 연구의 방향과 해소 정책 수립에 도움을 줄 것으로 기대된다. 이에 본 연구의 목적은 고령층의 디지털 정보 격 차 현상에 대해 사회연결망 분석을 통하여 그 동향을 파악하고 현 사회 전반에 발생하는 고령 층의 디지털 정보 격차 해소를 위한 학술적 및 실무적 시사점을 제안하는 것이다.
