The study looked at adolescents' experiences of cyberbullying and suicidal ideation. We looked at the experience of cyberbullying as a center of outcast, profanity and insults, and looked at the differences in suicidal ideation based on the degree of cyberbullying. The study utilized data from the Korea Youth Policy Institute's 2019 Mid-Term Human Rights Survey. To verify the differences between the groups, ANCOVA was performed using SPSS program 25. By controlling the experience of bullying in schools, which is a real space that can affect dependent variables, adolescents were able to verify differences in suicidal ideation based on their experiences of bullying in cyberspace. First, more than half of adolescents thought of suicide. Second, there was a difference between adolescents who experienced cyberspace outcast and those who did not. The group that did not experience cyberspace outcast had the lowest suicidal ideation. Third, there was a difference between adolescents who experienced cyberspace profanity and insults, and those who did not. The group that did not experience cyberspace profanity and insults had the lowest suicidal ideation. Given the prevalence of smartphones and internet usage in adolescents, the harms of youth harassment in cyberspace may continue to increase. In preventing and intervening in psychological problems such as youth cyberspace harassment and suicide, it is necessary to propose customized measures for youth using cyberspace.

최근에는 익명성과 비대면성으로 인해 사이버 공간에서 괴롭힘의 가능성이 높다. 사이버 공간은 현실적 공간 과 비교했을 때 24시간 괴롭힘이 가능하고, 괴롭힘을 매우 빠르고 광범위하게 확산시킨다. 사이버 공간에서의 괴롭힘은 물리적 공간에서의 괴롭힘보다 더 심각한 정신적 피해를 줄 수 있다. 본 연구는 청소년의 사이버 괴 롭힘 경험과 자살생각에 대하여 살펴보았다. 사이버 괴롭힘 경험을 따돌림, 욕설과 모욕 중심으로 살펴보고, 사이버 괴롭힘의 정도에 따라 자살사고의 차이를 살펴보았다. 자료는 한국청소년정책연구원의 2019 중고등용 인권실태조사 데이터를 활용하였다. 집단 간의 차이를 검증하기 위해 SPSS프로그램 25를 사용하여 공분산분 석(ANCOVA)을 실시하였다. 종속변수에 영향을 줄 수 있는 현실공간인 학교에서의 괴롭힘 경험을 통제하여 청소년이 사이버공간에서 괴롭힘 경험에 따른 자살생각의 차이를 검증하였다.
