The purpose of this study is to conduct a comparative analysis on pommel horse performances of world elite athletes and Korean athletes to improve the performance in the pommel horse which is evaluated to be weak. In response, this study targeted on three groups from Tokyo Olympics held in 2020, 2021 World Championship, and 2021 National Team and examined the difficulty elements, start score, and execution score by using mean(M), standard deviation(SD), percentage(%) and graph. The results were as follows. First, While OC groups and WC grouped performed difficulty level E, F and G skills which are high level skills, the KC group performed more difficulty level A and B skills. Second, in the difficulty score analysis, the mean scores for OC group, WC Group, and KC group were 4.58, 4.44, and 3.24 respectively. In addition, the total scores analysis, the mean scores for OC group, WC Group, and KC group were 14.50, 14.57, and 12.97 respectively. Third, world elite athletes adapted to the new scoring rules and performed simpler one hand rotation skill which is evaluated as difficulty level E skill. On the other hand, the Korean athletes stuck to the existing skills and showed plateau phenomenon. These results point out the changes made in the 2022 scoring rules and the results will help athletes and coaches plan better and improve the pommel horse performance.

이 연구는 세계 우수선수들과 국내 우수선수들의 안마종목 연기내용을 비교분석하여 취약종목으로 평가되는 안 마종목의 경기력을 향상시키려는 목적으로 진행되었다. 이에 2021에 개최된 2020 도쿄 올림픽, 2021 세계선수권대회, 2021 국가대표 선발전을 세 집단으로 구분하여 난도요소, 그룹점수, 시작점수, 실행점수를 평균(M), 표준편차(SD), 백분율(%), 그리고 그래프를 이용하여 자료를 처리하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 올림픽 집단과 세계선수권대 회 집단은 고난도인 E, F, 그리고 G난도의 빈도가 높으며, 국가대표 선발전 집단은 저난도인 A, B난도의 빈도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 점수 분석으로 난도점수는 올림픽 집단 평균 4.58점, 세계선수권대회 집단 평균 4.44점, 국가대표 선발전 집단 평균 3.24점으로 나타났으며, 최종점수는 올림픽 집단 평균 14.50점, 세계선수권대회 집단 평균 14.57점, 국가대표 선발전 집단 평균 12.97점으로 나타났다. 셋째, 세계 우수선수들은 채점규칙 변경에 적응하며 단순하지만 E난 도인 한 손으로 회전하는 기술의 빈도가 높아졌지만, 우리나라 선수들은 기존의 기술을 실시하며 고원현상에 머물러 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과는 2022 변경된 채점규칙의 변화를 파악할 수 있으며, 체조관계자들이 안마종목에서 연기를 구성하고 경기력을 향상시키는데 유용한 자료가 될 것으로 기대한다.
