The purpose of this study is to study the relationship between the various start-up support environments of domestic business incubators and the performance of resident companies. Various studies have been conducted on the performance of resident companies, evidencing that the service provided by the incubation center directly affects the performance of resident companies. However the study on the causal relationships among the perceptual variables is very scarce. In this study, the business incubator's startup support environment perceived by the CEOs of resident companies was to explore the factors that affect the performance of the resident companies, and to investigate the causal relationship between those factors. The subjects of this study were the CEOs of resident companies residing in 192 business incubators in universities across the country. 108 samples were collected, and 105 of them were analyzed for research with effective questionnaires. In addition, data on the start-up index of 416 universities across the country conducted by the Korea Business Incubator Association were obtained, extracted and used through institutional matching with each university and the CEO of the resident company. was conducted, and hypothesis testing was tested through structural equation model analysis and path analysis. The results of this study's research and analysis showed that, if you want to improve the performance of resident companies, it is effective to increase the performance of resident companies by increasing CEO confidence in the middle path, rather than directly affecting the performance of the resident companies. In addition, it was found that the network support activities provided by the business incubator directly affected the performance of resident companies, and that the performance of resident companies directly affected the university startup index. As a limitation of this study, there are various internal and external environmental factors other than those suggested in this study as factors affecting the performance of resident companies. There will be some limitations in generalizing the results.

본 연구는 국내 창업보육센터의 다양한 창업지원 환경과 입주기업 성과 간의 관계를 연구하 기 위한 것이다. 입주기업 성과에 관한 연구는 다양하게 진행되어왔으며, 창업보육센터에서 제 공하는 창업보육 지원 서비스가 입주기업 성과에 직접 영향을 미치는 연구는 많았지만, 독립변 인과 종속변인 간의 매개변인에 행위 주체자의 심리요인을 고려한 연구는 매우 부족했다. 본 연 구에서는 창업보육센터 입주기업 CEO가 인식하고 있는 창업보육센터의 창업지원 환경이 입주 기업 성과에 영향을 미치는 요인들을 탐색하고 그 요인들 간의 인과관계에 관해 규명하고자 하 였다. 이를 위해 전국 대학 내 192개 창업보육센터에 입주해 있는 입주기업 CEO를 대상으로 하 였고, 설문조사의 표본추출은 전수조사를 위해 각 센터의 입주기업 CEO 각 1명을 대상으로 조 사를 실시하여 108개를 회수하였고 그중 105개의 유효설문지로 연구 분석하였다. 또한, (사)한 국창업보육협회에서 실시한 전국 416개 대학 창업지수 자료를 확보하였으며, 각 대학과 입주기 업 CEO와의 기관 매칭을 통해 추출하여 이용하였고, 자료 분석은 기술통계 분석, 요인 및 신뢰 도 분석 등을 실시하였으며, 가설 검정은 구조방정식모형 분석과 경로 분석을 통해 검정하였다. 본 연구의 분석 결과를 통해 입주기업 성과를 높이고자 한다면 CEO 역량이 입주기업 성과에 직접 영향을 미치기보다는 중간경로에 CEO 자신감을 높임으로써 입주기업의 성과를 높이는 것이 효과적으로 나타났다. 또한, 창업보육센터에서 제공하는 네트워크 지원 활동은 입주기업 성 과에 직접 영향을 미치는 것과 입주기업 성과가 대학 창업지수에 직접 영향을 미치는 것을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구의 한계점으로 입주기업 성과에 영향을 미치는 요인으로 본 연구에서 제기한 것 이외에도 다양한 대내외 환경요인들이 있으며, 대학 창업보육센터 입주기업을 연구 대상으로 하였기에, 표본 수의 한계가 있어 본 연구의 결과를 일반화하는 데에는 다소 한계가 있을 것이다.
