Purpose : This study analyzes risks cases exist in Cross Border E-commerce and categorize it along with the risk types. Based on that risk type, this study propose how to manage the risks in CBEC. Research design, data, methodology : This study applies a case study based on risk management theories related to risk avoidance, loss control, risk transfer, risk retention. Results : The result showed that buyers' major risks in cross-border e-commerce are product defects, delay or non-delivery, and refusal to remedy seller's breach of contract. These risks can be reduced by dispute resolution services of global open market, credit card chargeback services, and checking terms and conditions of seller. On the other hand, the main risk for seller is the buyer's demand for refund and exchange due to product defects or damage, misdelivery and delay. These risks could be managed by improving the transaction process, securing transaction-related evidence, and sharing of the black consumer list. Conclusions : This study is expected to contribute to the improvement of cross border e-commerce risk management system and protect profit of buyer and seller. Also, It will be able to contribute to increasing the use of cross-border e-commerceif related risks are well managed.

B2C 국경 간 전자상거래의 확산에도 불구하고, 이에 관한 법규범이 부재하기에 이용자들은 국경 간 전자상거래에 수반하는 리스크에 노출되어 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 국경 간 전자상거 래에 존재하는 리스크 유형에 따른 리스크 관리방안을 제시하고자 한다. 이를 위해서 국경 간 전자상거래에서의 분쟁 유형 및 사례를 분석하고, 조사한 내용을 바탕으로 리스크 관리방법을 제안하고자 한다. 연구 결과, 국경 간 전자상거래에서 구매자의 주요한 리스크는 상품의 하자, 배송지연이나 미배송, 판매자의 계약 위반에 대한 구제거부로 나타났으며, 이러한 리스크는 오픈마켓의 분쟁 해결 서비스, 신용카드의 차지백 서비스, 판매자 약관의 사전확인, 주문 전 판매사이트와 상품 특성의 확인 등을 통해서 줄일 수 있다. 그리고 판매자의 입장에서의 주된 리스크는 제품의 불량이나 파손, 오배송 및 배송지연 등에 따른 구매자의 환불 및 교환 요구가 되며 이에 대한 관리방법으로는 거래 프로세스의 개선, 거래관련 증빙의 확보, 블랙컨슈머 리 스트의 공유 등을 제시할 수 있다.
