This study examines the innovative curriculumand educational innovationmethods developed so far in advanced countries in preparation for the need for university education innovation, andmeasures university supporting policy for customized education innovation in the era of the 4th industrial revolution, and cases of university education innovation inmajor advanced countries. By examining this, we are looking for the direction in which university education innovation measures should be activated in the future. Next, to examine the changes in the future society and the direction of university education innovation due to the 4th industrial revolution, and to examine the core competencies of university students that are emerging to nurture customized talents in the 4th industrial revolution era, university students who are recognized externally The tools for diagnosing core competencies are summarized. In addition, by examining the cases of university education innovation in developed countries that have made efforts to enhance their core competencies, it is providing a comprehensive view on the educational innovation methods that domestic universities should pursue. In conclusion, this study concluded that overall changes and innovations in the education system, including universities, are expected in the midst of rapid changes in the human resources required by society due to the rapid reorganization of the industrial structure and changes in the labor market following the 4th industrial revolution. Regarding the core competencies of university students, it was reconfirmed that the talents needed in the era of the 4th industrial revolution are creative talents, convergence talents, and relational performance talents. And, this study emphasizes the need for innovation in university education to select and enhance core competencies necessary for nurturing talent.

본 연구는 대학교육 혁신 필요에 대비하여 지금까지 개발된 선진국의 혁신 교육과정 및 교육혁신 방안들을 살펴보고, 4차 산업혁명 시대 맞춤 형 교육혁신을 위한 대학의 정책적 지원방안, 주요 선진국의 대학교육 혁신 사례를 검토해 봄으로써 향후 어떠한 방향으로 대학교육 혁신방안들 을 활성화해야 할 것인가를 모색하고 있다. 다음으로, 4차 산업혁명으로 인해 다가올 미래사회의 변화와 대학교육 혁신 방향을 살펴보고, 제4차 산업혁명 시대 맞춤형 인재를 양성하고자 대두되고 있는 대학생 핵심역량들을 살펴보기 위하여 대외적으로 인정받고 있는 대학생 핵심역량 진 단 도구들에 대해 정리하고 있다. 아울러 핵심역량을 제고하고자 노력한 선진국들의 대학교육 혁신 사례를 개괄적으로 살펴봄으로써 국내 대학 들이 추구해야 할 교육혁신 방안에 대한 종합적인 견해를 피력하고 있다. 제4차 산업혁명에 따라 급속하게 진행되는 산업구조의 개편과 노동시 장의 변화로 인해 사회가 요구하는 인재상의 급격한 변화가 예상되는 가운데 결론적으로 본 연구는 대학을 포함한 교육 시스템의 총체적인 변화 와 혁신이 필요함을 강조하고 있으며, 대학생 핵심역량과 관련하여서는 4차 산업혁명 시대에 필요한 인재가 창조형 인재, 융합형 인재, 관계성 과형 인재임을 재확인함으로써 이에 필요한 핵심역량의 선정 및 제고를 위한 대학교육 혁신이 이루어져야 함을 강조하고 있다.
