Since the 21th century, South Korean crime thrillers with their unique features have broken up the monopoly of Hollywood thrillers. Based on the advantages of the Hollywood model, they integrate sober and introspective Eastern elements and highlight the local social criticism and distinctive national features. Many contemporaneous works of the Chinese film market have also received popular recognition, some of which have had a profound impact in Asia and even internationally. This study selected two films of South Korea Heart Blackened and Hostage: Missing Celebrity as subjects which are respectively remade from Silent Witness (China) and Saving Mr. Wu (China). The two remakes remain consistent with the typical features of Korean crime films, and adopt major changes from the original Chinese version, providing a new way for remakes. This paper mainly focuses on the current situation and strategies of South Korean remakes of crime films of the mainland China in recent years, it is concluded that the cultural background of South Korean remakes is localized based on social reality; the setting of characters is localized with national features; and audiovisual language focuses on the localized presentation of local customs, etc. By innovative adaptations with local features based on the successful text of the original works, the remakes can meet the interests of Korean audiences while making up for the shortcomings in the original works.

2000년 이후 범죄 스릴러 한국 영화가 새로운 방식을 개척하여 할리우드 스릴러 영화의 독점 상황을 무너뜨리고, 할리우드 모델의 장점을 기초로 냉담하고 함축적인 동양적 요소를 추가하여 한국 민족의 사 회 비판 의식과 선명한 민족 특색을 선명하게 부각시켰다. 이와 동시에 중국 영화 시장에도 우수한 작품 이 다수 등장하여 아시아는 물론이고 나아가 세계에 깊은 영향을 끼쳤다. 한국과 중국은 지리와 문화 측 면에서 일정한 유사성을 지니고 있으며, 한국식 스릴러 영화는 홍콩의 초기 범죄영화에 대한 리메이크에 서 중국 범죄영화에 대한 리메이크로 발전하여 다양한 중국 영화가 최근 몇 년 동안 한국에서 잇따라 리 메이크 되었다. 한국과 중국의 양국 영화가 빠르게 발전한 오늘날, 중국 범죄영화의 리메이크에 대한 연 구는 일정한 현실적 의미를 지니고 있다. 본 연구의 대상인 <침묵>(한국)과 <인질>(한국)은 각각 <침묵의 목격자>(중국)와 <세이빙 미스터 우>(중국)를 바탕으로 각색된 작품이며, <침묵>과 <인질>은 한국 범죄영 화의 일관된 창작 특징을 연속할 뿐만 아니라 중국의 원작을 기초로 대폭적인 각색을 진행하여 리메이크 라는 특수한 영화 창작 형식에 새로운 구상을 제공하였다. 본 연구는 한국 영화 <침묵>과 <인질>을 사례 로 최근 한국의 중국 범죄영화에 대한 리메이크 현황과 전략에 초점을 맞추었다. 연구 결과 한국 리메이 크 영화의 문화 배경은 사회 현실을 토대로 한국 상황에 맞게 각색하여 민족적 특징을 지닌 인물 캐릭터 로 설정하였고, 시청 언어는 한국의 풍토와 인정을 최대한 표현했다는 사실을 발견하였다. 즉, 비교적 성 공을 거둔 원작 텍스트를 바탕으로 한국의 창의적 각색을 통해 리메이크 영화를 한국 관객의 기호에 맞 도록 적절히 수정하고, 원작의 부족한 부분을 더욱 보완한 것이다.
