This study illuminates the relationship between God and humans through comparative analysis of creative musical plays and licensed musical, and the conflicts and concerns between the laws of survival as humans, the cause and reason for existence, fate and fate, and the problems of will and choice are still to us. It starts with a reminder that it is a serious unresolved issue. For that long, ancient Greek tragedies and myths have been handed down through records and oral traditions, and from the past to the present, they have expressed their curiosity by borrowing the human body and expressing them using body and language within the form of stage plays as an artistic genre. As time goes by, with the development of modern society and the flourishing of popular culture, religious rituals are transformed into plays, and plays have grown from pure art to commercial art. In harmony with the music, it appeared in front of the public in a completely different form from the existing ones. This study is a case study. Through phenomenological case analysis that appears in the current performing arts world, it is possible to feel and directly view the above two works, and to consider the importance of music in addition to the classics based on interview with experts in related fields and previous studies. In particular, noteworthy commonalities in the comparative study of the two works are the appearance of the narrator in the play and the use of Greek tragedies and myths as the subject matter of the work. Dali mentions the active intervention of the chorus and ensemble. On the other hand, the differences are first, musical style, second, expression of choreography, third, reinterpretation of the original work in terms of formality and creative play, and fourth, interpretation of the ending of the creative team, etc are what the author reveal through this study.

이 연구는 창작 음악극과 라이선스 뮤지컬의 비교분석을 통해 신과 인간의 관계를 조명하며 인간으로서 생존 필연적 법칙, 존재 원인과 이유, 숙명과 운명, 의지와 선택의 문제 사이에서 그 갈등과 고민이 여전히 우리에게 해결되지 않는 중대한 것임을 상기시킨 것에서 출발한다. 그만큼 오랫동안 고대 그리스 비극과 신화는 기록과 구전으로 전해 내려와 과거부터 현재까지 예술적 장르로서 무대극의 형식으로 인간의 신체를 빌려 몸과 언어를 사용해 표현해냄으로써, 그 궁금증을 표출해왔다. 시간의 흐름에 따라 현대사회의 발전과 대중문화의 번성으로 종교적 의미의 제의는 연극으로, 연극은 순수예술에서 상업예술로 점차 몸집을 키워 견고한 성벽처럼 느껴지던 고전마저도 젊은 예술가들의 상상력을 더해 새 유형의 음악이 조화를 이뤄 기존의 것과는 전혀 다른 모습으로 대중 앞에 등장하였다. 이 연구는 사례연구로서, 현재 공연예술계에 나타나는 현상학적 사례분석을 통해 위 두 작품을 가까이서 느끼고 직접 관람하며 관련 분야 전문가들의 인터뷰와 선행연구 등을 바탕으로 고전에 더한 음악의 중요성에 관한 고찰에 이르게 되었다. 특히, 앞서 제시한 두 작품의 비교연구에서 주목할 만한 공통점으로 첫째, 극 중 해설자 역할의 등장과 둘째, 그리스 비극과 신화를 작품의 소재로 활용한 점 셋째, 신과 인간의 관계를 주제로 다루고 넷째, 타 극과 달리 코러스와 앙상블의 적극적 개입을 꼽을 수 있다. 반면에 차이점으로는 첫째, 음악적 스타일 둘째, 안무의 표현법 셋째, 형식적 측면에서 원작의 재해석과 창작극이라는 점 넷째, 창작진의 결말에 대한 해석 등이 필자가 본 연구를 통하여 밝히는 바이다.
