The crisis of death which from COVID-19 that is spread around the World, occurred negative cognition toward death. The death from all over the World is shown by broadcast media, and also in our country, Korea, a lot of people from children to senior hear the news of death everyday. Humans encounter death unexpectedly in their lives. In that moment, understanding the essence of death, and the way of dealing with death are highly important. According to the research of death education for children, even children from age 3 to 10 understand and recognize about death and adapt to death. Therefore, the necessity of death education with the development of children is arise. Death education changes the cognition about death from negative into positive and allows people to restore human nature and to have valuable lives. The conception of death in Christianity is based on the Bible, and it confesses that the sovereign of life and death is God. This research presents the model of death education for children that is combined with Kerygma, Leiturgia, Didache, Koinonia, and Diakonia which are pastoral curriculum of Maria Harris

전 세계에 확산된 COVID-19의 죽음 위기는 죽음에 대한 부정적 인식을 초래했다. 방송 매체를 통해 세계 곳곳의 죽음을 보게 되고, 우리나라에서도 어린이부터 노인까지 죽음 소식을 매일 듣고 있다. 인간은 살아가면서 뜻하 지 않게 죽음을 만나게 된다. 그때 죽음의 본질을 어떻게 이해하고 대처할 것인가는 매우 중요하다. 어린이를 위한 죽음 교육 연구에 따르면 3세-10세 까지의 어린이도 죽음에 대한 이해와 인식을 하며 죽음에 적응한다고 밝혔 다. 그러므로 어린이의 발달에 따른 죽음 교육의 필요성이 요구된다. 죽음 교육은 죽음에 대한 부정적 감정을 긍정적으로 바꿔주며, 인간의 본성 회복 과 가치 있는 삶으로 변화시킨다. 기독교의 죽음 이해는 성경에 기반을 두 며, 하나님께서 생명과 죽음의 주권자이심을 고백한다. 본 연구는 마리아 해 리스의 목회 커리큘럼인 케리그마, 레이투르기아, 디다케, 코이노니아 그리 고 디아코니아를 접목한 어린이를 위한 죽음 교육 모델을 제시한다.
