This paper is an attempt to elucidate the Concept of "Dance" appearingin Nietzsche's Philosophy from the Perspective of Art of Body. For Nietzsche, Dance is an art in which the psychological-physiological Characteristics of the Body are organically related. Therefore, the Condition of the Dance is inevitably "Body", and the Dance revealed by the Body's activities can never be due to the Soul and Spirit. In Nietzsche's Philosophy, Dance is presented as a philosophical attempt to overcome the Meaning and Value of Life suggested by Metaphysics and Religion, and at the same time as an Methodology of existential Health that presents a relationship with myself. As such, Dance is a Metaphor that represents the artistic existence that I relate to as an Art of the Body. And the dancing human type Nietzsche suggests is Übermensch(Overman). Dance is a anthropological characteristic of Übermensch and a anthropological metaphor presented as a lifestyle, represented by a free spirit and will. If the realistic value of Übermensch is questionable, dance will play an ideological role in lightening this Question.

본 논문은 니체의 철학에 등장하는 “춤”의 개념을 몸의 예술의 관점에서 해명하기 위한 시도이다. 니체에게 있어 춤은 몸의 심리학적-생리학적 특성이 유기적으로 관계하는 예술이 다. 그렇기 때문에 춤의 조건은 “몸(Leib)”일 수밖에 없으며, 몸의 활동으로 드러나는 춤은 결코 영혼과 정신에 의한 것일 수 없다. 니체의 철학에서 춤은 형이상학과 종교가 제시하는 삶의 의미와 가치를 극복하기 위한 철학적 시도임과 동시에 나 자신과의 관계를 제시하는 실존적 건강의 방법론으로 제시된다. 이렇듯 춤은 몸의 예술로서 내가 나와 관계하는 예술 적 실존을 대변해주는 메타포이다. 그리고 니체가 제시하는 춤추는 인간유형은 바로 위버멘 쉬이다. 춤은 자유로운 정신과 의지로 대변되는 위버멘쉬의 인간학적 특징이자 삶의 양식으 로 제시되는 인간학적 메타포이다. 만약 위버멘쉬의 현실적 가치가 의문스럽다면, 춤은 이 의문을 가볍게 만들어주는 사상적 역할을 할 것이다.
