This study summarized the current status of Korean rare books bibliographic surveys in China and examined approaches to conducting bibliographic surveys in China in the future. Until now, the current status of bibliographic surveys of Korean rare books in China has been largely centered on government agencies and university libraries. First of all, seven government agencies are the National Library of China, Liaoning provincial Library, Zhejiang Library, Shanghai Library, Namkyung Library, Chinese Academy of Sciences Literature Information Center, and Anhui provincial Library. There are six university libraries, including Beijing University Library, Bokdan University Library, Unnam University Library, Zhejiang University Library, Shandong University Library, and Gokbu College of Education Library. Only the Zhejiang Library and the Shanghai Library were surveyed as government agencies, and in the case of university libraries, five were surveyed except for the Beijing University Library. In order to investigate Korean rare books held in overseas institutions, cooperative networks with their institutions are the most important. In particular, since cooperation with institutions or managers is very important to investigate Korean rare books in China, it is necessary to increase the establishment of cooperative networks through academic events and human exchanges to increase access to Korean rare books.

본 연구는 그간 중국 소재 한국 고문헌 서지조사 현황을 정리해보고 앞으로 중국 지역 서지조사를 하기 위한 접근 방안을 모색해 본 것이다. 중국 소재 한국 고문헌은 개인 연구자를 비롯해서 국립중앙도서관, 국립문 화재연구소, 국외소재문화재재단 등이 참여하여 서지조사를 진행하고 있었다. 현재까지 중국 내 한국 고문헌의 서지조사 현황은 크게 정부기관과 대학도서관을 중심으로 이루어져 왔다. 먼저 정부 기관은 중국국가도서관, 요녕성도서관, 절강도서관, 상해도서관, 남경도서관, 중국과학원문헌정보센터, 안휘성도서관 등 7개처이다. 대 학도서관은 북경대학도서관, 복단대학도서관, 운남대학도서관, 절강대학도서관, 산동대학도서관, 곡부사범대학 도서관 등 6개처이다. 정부기관은 절강도서관과 상해도서관만이 전수조사가 이루어졌고, 대학도서관의 경우는 북경대학도서관을 제외하고 5개처의 전수조사가 이루어졌다. 한국 고문헌을 소장하고 있는 해외 기관이 모두 그러하듯이 어느 기관 할 것 없이 협력 네트워크가 가장 중요하다고 해도 과언이 아니다. 특히 중국은 더더욱 한국 고문헌을 조사하기 위해서는 기관 또는 담당자와의 관계 협력이 대단히 중요하기 때문에 학술행사, 인적 교류 등을 통해 서로간의 협력 네트워크 구축을 높여야 한국 고문헌에 대한 자료 공유와 서지조사의 접근성을 높일 수 있을 것이다.
