This study was conducted to investigate the qualities change according to the soil drying period on a new late-season mandarin ‘Ehime Kashi 28gou’(((Nankou(Citrus unshiu ‘Miho-wase’×Citrus clementina)×Amakusa(No. 14(Citrus. unshiu ‘Miyagawa wase’×Citrus sinensis ‘Trovita’))×Citrus reticulata ‘Page’) in the non-heated plastic houses of volcanic ash soil, from 2017 to 2018 in Namwon-ri Namwon-eub Seogwipo-si Jeju-do. As a result of examining the quality change by soil drying period for ‘Ehime Kashi 28gou’, in order to produce high-quality fruit with soluble solid contents of 12°Bx or more and acidity of 1.10% or less, the following conditions must be maintained. Soil drying period was before mid-August, and leaf water potential keeps –0.30Mpa or less to the harvest time, and soil volume moisture keeps less than 15%. As in this study, new varieties ‘Ehime Kanshi 28 gou’ will have to be supplied after reviewing an appropriate cropping system and cultivation techniques, and so on.

‘에히메과시28호’에 대한 단수 시기별 과실 품 질 변화 연구는 2017년부터 2018년까지 2년간 서 귀포시 남원읍 하례리 화산회토양에서 수행하였 다. 단수 시기는 7월 하순, 8월 중순, 9월 상순으 로 구분하고 토양수분과 과실 품질을 비교한 결 과, 8월 중순 이전부터 단수가 필요하고 수확기 까지 엽수분포텐셜 –0.30MPa 이하, 토양용적수 분함량 15% 이하로 건조 상태를 유지해야 당도 12°Bx 이상, 산함량 1.10% 이하의 과실 생산이 가능하였다. ‘에히메과시28호’는 당도 향상이 어려운 품종이 므로 적절한 단수 관리가 필요한 것으로 생각된다.
