In this study, the instructional design and operation of on-line interactional activities between Korean university students majoring in Japanese in South Korea and Japanese university students majoring in Korean in Japan was reported. Based on a survey conducted after the activities was completed, it was found that students from both universities participated actively in interactional activities, and were highly satisfied with the class. In particular, the satisfaction of the participants with this class was relatively high, as it involved interactional activities taking place on an equal footing between students who were highly interested in each other's language and culture. In addition, the interactional activities provided the university students from both countries with an opportunity to understand the value and importance of exchange and communication, and was effective in motivating students to learn the target language.

본 논문에서는 한국에서 일본어를 전공하는 대학생과 일본에서 한국어를 전공하는 대학생 간에 실시된 온라인 국제 교류학습의 수업 설계 및 운영에 대하여 보고하였다. 교류학습이 종료된 후에 실시한 설문조사 결과, 양국 대학의 학생들 은 교류학습에 적극적으로 참여하였으며 교류학습에 대한 만족도가 높다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 특히 이번 교류학습의 경우 서로의 언어와 문화에 관심이 높은 학생들 간에 대등한 관계에서 이루어진 교류학습이라는 점에서 참여자들의 만족도가 상대적으로 높게 나타났다. 또한 교류학습은 양국 대학의 학생들에게 교류 및 커뮤니케이션에 대한 가치와 중요성을 이해할 수 있는 기회를 제공하였으며 목표 언어에 대한 학습 의욕 고취에도 효과적이었다.
