The purpose of this study is to confirm the impression patterns of foreign students who read chinese translations of Korean short story. The number of foreign students at Korean universities is increasing day by day. And their language skills are very different, the universities faced the task of expanding the curriculum for them. Meanwhile, foreign students attending Korean universities need to broaden their awareness and understanding of Korea. Korean modern literature is deeply related to the formation of nation, and it will be an excellent educational content for this. However, the number of foreign students who can read Korean modern literature in its original text is very small. So, this study hypothesized that foreign students who had difficulty reading Korean modern literature in their original language would be able to study through translations of Korean literature. The researchers collected, translated, and analyzed the reading reviews of 23 Chinese students on the <船歌> which is Chinese translation of , Short story equivalent to canon in Korea. This study is meaningful in that it paid attention to the results of foreigners' appreciation of Korean literature translations. And this study is meaningful in that it paid attention to the possibility of literature education through translation of Korean literature for the first time.

이 연구의 목적은 한국문학의 번역본을 읽은 중국인 유학생의 감상 양상을 확인하는 것이 다. 국내의 외국인 유학생 수가 증가함에 따라 대학에서는 이들을 위한 교육과정 혁신을 하고 있다. 그 거시적 흐름 중 하나는 유학생들이 한국에 대한 인식과 이해를 확충할 교육체계를 구축하는 것이다. 근대문학은 국가의 기틀을 다지고 국민 정체성을 구축하는 데 큰 역할을 했다. 그런 점에서 이는 외국인이 한국을 이해하도록 이끌 탁월한 교육 콘텐츠이다. 문제는 한국근대문학을 원어로 읽을 수 있는 유학생 수가 매우 적다는 점이다. 이에 이 연구에서는 한국근대문학의 번역본을 통한 교육의 가능성을 확인하고자 <배따라기>의 중국어 번역본인 <船歌>에 대한 중국인 유학생 23명의 감상문을 수집·번역·분석했다. 이 연구는 지금까지 연구적으로는 크게 주목하지 않았던 ‘외국인의 한국문학 번역본의 수용 양상’과 ‘한국문학 번 역본을 통한 외국인 대상 한국문학교육 가능성’에 초점을 맞췄다는 점에서 그 의미가 있다.
