This study was conducted with the aim of establishing the concept of psychological empowerment and developing a psychological empowerment scale to measure it. Method: To achieve this goal, athletes from all over the country were set up as a population, and a total of 407 copies were collected from Seoul, Gyeonggi, Daejeon, Daegu, Junju, Gwangju, and Busan using the convenience sampling method. For the analysis of data according to the research purpose, EFA, CFA and MCFA analysis was performed using WINSTEP 3.65 and Jamovi 1.6.23 and the significance level was set to .05. In addition, TLI, RMSEA, AVE, and concept reliability were used for EFA, CFA, validity, and multi-group confirmatory factor analysis suitability. The research results through this process are as follows. Results: First, the factor structure of the psychological empowerment was extracted into 4 factors(competence, meaning, self-determination, and impact) and 12 questions. Second, as a result of verifying the suitability and validity of the 4 factor 12 questions structure using the collected data, it was found that it met the criteria and had validity.

본 연구의 목적은 운동선수의 심리적 임파워먼트의 개념구조를 탐색하고 이를 준거로 심리적 임파워먼트 척도를 개발하기 위한 목적으로 진행되었다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위하여 서울, 경기, 대전, 대구, 전주, 광주 및 부산 지역에 위치하고 있는 대학운동팀을 대상으로 편의표집법을 이용하여 자료를 수집하였다. 연구목적에 따라 WINSTEP 3.65, Jamovi 1.6.23을 이용하여 EFA, CFA 및 MCFA분석을 실시하였으며 유의도는 .05로 설정하였다. 그리고 EFA와 CFA, 타당도 및 다집단 확인적 요인분석 적합도는 TLI, RMSEA, AVE, 개념신뢰도를 이용하였다. 이러한 과정을 통한 연구결 과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 운동선수들의 심리적 임파워먼트(PE)의 구성요인은 역량, 의미성, 자기결정력, 영향력 등 4가지 요인으로 나타났다. 둘째, 운동선수들의 심리적 임파워먼트를 측정하기 위한 검사지 척도는 4요인 12문항, 3점 Likert 척도로 결정되었다.
