This study analyzed the actual conditions of Korean culture and daily life learning purpose of Korean language interpersonal relationship learning ability and satisfaction with college life for Vietnamese students in Daejeon and Chungnam, and prepared measures for successful adaptation to Korean life. Vietnamese students have experienced economic difficulties, discrimination, and prejudice in Korean life, and as a member of our society. it is necessary to supplement and check the related system so that Vietnamese students can study abroad happily. In addition, as the demand for Korean increased, the proportion of Korean learning for employment purposes increased, and it is necessary to develop a Korean curriculum for employment purposes. Counseling and communication with professors in the major and exchanges between students should also increase. Although Vietnamese students are generally satisfied with administrative services and convenience facilities in college life, it is time to re-examine the overall university system for international students. We all have to make efforts to help Vietnamese students study in Korea with a sense of happiness as a human being.

이 연구는 대전, 충남 지역의 베트남 유학생들을 대상으로 한국 문화와 일상생활, 한국어 학습목적, 대인관 계, 학습능력, 대학 생활을 만족 등의 실태를 분석해 보고, 성공적인 한국 생활 적응을 위한 방안을 마련하고자 하였다. 베트남 유학생들은 한국 생활에서 경제적으로 힘들고 차별과 편견을 경험하기 했는데, 우리 사회의 한 구성원으로서 베트남 유학생이 행복한 유학 생활을 하도록 관련 제도를 보완하고 점검할 필요가 있다. 또한, 한국어의 수요가 증가하면서 취업을 목적으로 한국어 학습하는 비중이 높아졌는데, 취업 목적 한국어 교육과 정의 개발이 필요하다. 전공 내 교수와의 상담과 소통, 학생들 간의 교류도 좀 더 많아져야 하겠다. 대학 생활 에서 행정서비스나 편의 시설 등은 베트남 유학생들이 대체로 만족하고는 있지만, 유학생들을 위한 대학 전반 의 시스템을 재점검할 시점이다. 베트남 유학생들이 한 인간으로서 행복감을 느끼고 한국 유학 생활을 해나갈 수 있도록 우리가 모두 노력해나가야 한다.
