The female workforce is not only a newsource of economic activity, but also an unexplored resource, which has important implications for enhancing national competitiveness. In a situation where the economically active population is expected to decrease sharply in the future, expectations for female workers are gradually increasing, but it is judged that the discussion on women's entrepreneurship is not sufficiently conducted. This study aims to analyze the growth characteristics of female enterprises and suggest effective support measures in order to increase their understanding of the entrepreneurship of innovative female enterprises and to seek development policies. As a result of analyzing the growth characteristics of innovative female companies, it was confirmed that female companies were inferior tomale companies in terms of size, history, and growth potential in terms of business performance, but had superiority in stability such as profitability, liquidity, and financial soundness. These results can be interpreted as a phenomenon that female companies can survive only if they have good profitability, and it is relatively difficult to utilize investment and financial sector loans that affect liquidity and financial soundness compared to male companies. Therefore, it is necessary to prepare a plan to overcome low collateral and credit so that female companies canmakemore progressive decision-making in investment and business activities. In terms of innovation, it was found that, despite the similar proportions of innovative companies to male companies, female companies were clearly inferior in R&D infrastructure. This suggests that it is necessary to enhance sustainability by changing the undervalued image of women's technology level, and can be interpreted to mean that various support programs with newstandards need to be prepared for this.

여성인력은 우리 경제의 미개척자원으로서, 국가 경쟁력 제고를 위해 중요한 의미를 지닌다. 4차산업혁명의 도래와 향후 경제활동인구의 급 감이 예상되는 상황 하에서, 여성인력에 대한 기대감이 증가하고 있으나 여성의 기업가정신에 관한 논의는 그간 충분히 진행되지 못했다. 다만, 여성 벤처기업들 가운데 청년층 비중이 처음으로 20%를 돌파하면서 혁신성 측면에서 주목할 만한 변화가 시작되었다는 점은 긍정적으로 평가 된다. 본 연구는 혁신형 여성기업의 기업가정신에 대한 이해도를 높이고 발전방안을 모색하기 위해, 여성기업의 특성을 분석하고 그에 따른 효 과적 지원방향을 도출하고자 한다. 혁신형 여성기업의 특성을 분석한 결과, 경영성과 측면에서 혁신형 여성기업은 남성기업에 비해 규모나 업 력, 성장성 측면에서는 열위에 있으나 수익성, 유동성, 재무건전성 등 안정성 측면에서는 우위에 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 이러한 결과는, 여성기 업은 수익성이 좋아야 생존할 수 있고 유동성, 재무건전성 등에 영향을 미치는 투자 및 금융권 여신 활용이 남성기업에 비해 상대적으로 어려워 발생하는 현상이라고 해석할 수 있다. 따라서 여성기업이 투자와 영업 활동에 있어서 보다 진취적으로 의사결정을 할 수 있도록 , 낮은 담보력과 신용을 극복할 수 있는 방안을 마련할 필요가 있다. 혁신성 측면에서는, 여성기업이 남성기업과 혁신형 기업의 비중이 유사함에도 불구하고 기 술개발 인프라는 뚜렷하게 열위에 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 여성기업의 기술 수준에 대한 저평가된 이미지를 변화시킴으로써 지속가능성을 제고시킬 필요가 있음을 시사하며, 이를 위해 새로운 기준의 다양한 지원방안이 마련되어야 할 필요가 있음을 의미한다.
