This paper investigates to determinants of an attract investment funding amount of PropTech startups. PropTech industry in Korea is a primary stage, and many of PropTech firms are startup. From a startups perspective, attract invesment is an essential factor for survival and sustainable growth. Therefore, our result can be important information to understand of PropTech industry in Korea. Our results show that gender, and industry sector are insignificant factors to an investment attraction scale, and location is significant. Specifically, PropTech startups located in Seoul is more advantageous for investment attraction. Therefore, policymakers should consider supporting so that can be growing of PropTech industry in another region. Also, our result implies that PropTech startups market in Korea is women can compete without discrimination.

본 연구는 국내 프롭테크 스타트업의 투자유치 규모 결정요인을 분석한다. 국내 프롭테 크 산업은 초기 단계에 해당하며, 이에 따라 대부분의 프롭테크 기업이 스타트업의 형태로 존재한다. 스타트업의 관점에서 투자유치는 기업의 생존과 성장에 중요한 요인이므로, 본 연구의 결과는 국내 프로테크 산업을 이해하는 중요한 자료가 될 수 있다. 실증분석 결과 국내 프롭테크 스타트업의 투자유치 규모에 성별, 금융업 여부는 유의미한 영향을 미치지 않았으며, 업력이 길고, 서울 소재 스타트업이 그 외 지역보다 투자유치에 더 유리한 것으 로 나타났다. 프롭테크 투자 시장에서 성별에 따른 차이가 없다는 점은 해외의 스타트업 투자유치에 관한 연구 결과와 상반되지만, 여성의 시장참여를 독려할 수 있는 근거로 활용 될 수 이다. 또한, 소재지에 따른 투자유치 규모의 차이가 존재하므로 서울 이외 지역에서 프롭테크 스타트업이 사업을 영위할 수 있도록 정책적 지원이 필요함을 시사한다.
