This research was conducted to examine the attitude to death, and identify factors influencing attitude to death, in social welfare students. Data were collected from 179 social welfare students. in two universities. Data were collected from April to June 2021 using structured questionnaires. Data collected were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlations, and multiple regression analysis. The results indicated that meaning in life(r=.34, p =.001) had a significant positive association with attitude to death. And life satisfaction(r=.61, p <.001) and resilience(r=.65, p <.001) were positively correlated with attitude to death, The significant predictors of attitude to death, were grade(ß=.21, p =.002) and life satisfaction(ß=.22, p =.013), explaining 20.2% of the variance. Based on the study results, we suggest that it is necessary to develop counseling and attitude to death programs that can positively change the attitude of social welfare students.

본 연구는 사회복지전공 대학생의 죽음에 대한 태도의 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하기 위한 서술적 조사 연구이 다. 연구대상자는 2개 대학에 재학 중인 사회복지전공 대학생 179명을 대상으로 시행하였으며, 구조화된 설문지를 통해 자료 수집을 하였다. 수집한 자료는 기술통계와 t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlations, 다중회귀분석으로 분석하였 다. 연구결과 사회복지전공 대학생의 삶의 의미(r=.34, p =.001)와 삶의 만족도(r=.61, p <.001), 회복탄력성(r=.65, p <.001)과 죽음에 대한 태도는 정적 상관관계를 보였다. 위계적 회귀분석을 실시한 결과 학년(ß=.21, p =.002)과 삶의 만족도(ß=.22, p =.013)가 주요 영향요인이었으며, 이 모델은 20.2%의 설명력을 나타내었다. 연구결과를 통해 사회복지 전공 대학생의 죽음에 대한 태도를 긍정적으로 변화시킬 수 있는 상담 및 지지프로그램과 죽음 관련 교육 프로그램의 개발이 이루어져야 할 것이다.
