Recently, efforts to create sermons that faithfully reflect the textuality of the Bible are continuing on North American evangelical homiletics. Efforts to reflect the structure and dynamism of the biblical genre in sermons first started with the narrative text and are now expanding to various genres. The problem is that, compared to some studies on preaching methods and specific techniques for other genres, homiletic studies on preaching Psalms are still incomplete. Previously published references mainly introduce the contents of biblical theological studies on Psalms rather than specific methods for preaching Psalms. It is not easy for preachers to effectively preach Psalms in this situation without a specific preaching method. Recognizing this situation, this paper intends to present SEIRA homiletic method for preaching Psalms so that the preachers can preach Psalms easily and effectively. To achieve this goal, as a preliminary step, this pater will explains the main concepts and terms related to the preaching Psalms. After that, as a prior study, various methods by major homiliticians for the preaching Psalms will be discussed and presented in summary. In the next step, as the core part of this paper, ‘SEIRA’ homiletic method for preaching Psalms and Its examples will be presented. The name ‘SEIRA’ contains the core direction of the preaching Psalms and how to use the three elements emphasized in main text with relevance and application. SEIRA that includes structure(s), emotion(e), and image(i), relevance(r), and application(a) enables preachers to make a balanced and powerful sermon of the Psalms

최근 북미 복음주의 설교학자들을 중심으로 성경의 본문성 (textuality)이 충실히 반영된 설교를 만들려는 노력이 계속되고 있다. 성경 장르의 구조와 역동성을 설교에 반영하려는 노력은 내러티브 본 문에서 먼저 시작되어 지금은 다양한 장르로 확대되고 있다. 문제는 다 른 장르에 대한 설교법이 어느 정도 연구되고, 그에 따른 구체적인 방 법도 제안된 것에 비해 시편 설교에 관한 연구와 설교 방법은 아직 미 비하다는 점이다. 기존에 발표되었던 논문이나 책들을 살펴보면 구체 적인 시편 설교법보다는 시편에 관한 성경신학적 연구의 내용을 주로 소개하고 있다. 구체적인 설교법이 없는 이런 상황에서 설교자들이 효 과적으로 시편을 설교하기는 쉽지 않다. 본 논문은 이런 상황을 인식하 면서 설교자들이 시편 설교를 쉽고 효과적으로 할 수 있도록 본문이 이 끄는‘세이라(SEIRA) 시편 설교법’을 구체적인 설교 작성법으로 제시 하고자 한다. 이 목표를 이루기 위해 먼저 예비단계로 시편 설교와 관 련된 주요 개념과 용어에 대해 살펴볼 것이다. 그 후 선행연구로 지금 까지 주요 설교학자들에 의해 논의되고 제시된 시편 설교법을 요약해 제시할 것이다. 다음 단계는 본 논문의 핵심 부분으로 본문이 이끄는 시편 설교법의 구체적 작성법인 세이라 시편 설교 작성법과 이것으로 작성된설교문을실례로제시할것이다.‘ SEIRA’라는이름에시편설 교의 핵심 방향과 본문이 이끄는 설교가 강조하는 세 요소의 구체적인 사용법이 동시에 들어있다. 이 설교법은 본문의 구조(S), 감정(E), 이미지(I)를 파악하고 설교 준비단계에서 연관성(R)과 적용(A)을 포함해 균 형 있는 시편 설교를 가능하게 한다.
