This study examined the perceptions of lifelong education participants for the elderly and the developmentally disabled in the digital online education situation caused by COVID-19 of practitioners of lifelong education institutions. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, and concepts were derived and categorized through constant comparison method. As a result of the analysis, the lack of resources for education is aggravating the gap in education participation, lifelong education is recognized as a matter of survival beyond social participation, learning interruption causes physical and psychological maladaptation. Meanwhile, they were struggling to embrace change. Accordingly, in the post-COVID19 era, it is necessary to help embrace change, provide online learning-contents considering the level of learning, support digital literacy education, and provide a socio-cultural foundation for digital competency enhancement.

본 연구는 코로나19로 인한 디지털 온라인 교육 상황에서 노인과 발달장애인의 평생 학습 프로그램 참여 경험을 평생교육기관 실무자의 인식을 통해 살펴보았다. 심층면담 을 실시하여 자료를 수집하였고, 지속적비교분석법을 통해 개념을 도출하고 범주화를 실시하였다. 분석결과 교육을 위한 자원의 부재가 교육참여 격차를 심화하고 있으며, 평 생학습 참여는 사회참여를 넘어 생존의 문제로 인식되고 있었고, 학습중단으로 인지적, 심리적 부적응이 나타나고 있었으며, 변화를 수용하기 위한 의지와 노력을 확인할 수 있었다. 이에 따라 포스트 코로나 시대 노인 및 발달장애인 학습자들이 변화를 수용할 수 있도록 학습상담지원, 학습수준을 고려한 온라인 교육 콘텐츠 제공, 디지털리터러시 교육 지원, 디지털 역량 향상을 위해 사회문화적 기반을 조성해야 한다는 시사점을 도출하였다.
