OVID-19 will be recorded as a very important event in the history of the Korean church. Above all, COVID-19 has had a major impact on the decline in the trustworthiness of Korean churches to 21%. The Korean church was pointed out as the main cause of the spread of COVID-19, which lead to the Korean church becoming an object of hatred by the public. The problem is that the public's negative perception toward the Korean church will not change easily, which will be a major obstacle to the mission of the Korean church. The recovery of the Korean church, that is in crisis due to COVID-19, is very urgent. Being aware of this problem, the Presbyterian University and Theological Seminary(PUTS) conducted a survey of the perceptions of various members of Korean society, including Christians and non Christian, regarding COVID-19 and the Korean church, and confirmed various perceptions of Protestantism. The purpose of this awareness survey is to diagnose the problems related to the Korean church and COVID-19 and suggest solutions. In this regard, the author will confirm the reality of the perception of the Korean church related to COVID-19 as shown by the PUTS COVID-19 Report, and reveal what it means. At the same time, I would like to assert the direction the Korean church should take due to COVID-19. To this end, this study will introduce the general contents of the COVID-19 report of PUTS, and then reveal what it means for the change and reform of the Korean church. Through this, the Korean church should make a council, construct between church and journalism and the Korean church, strengthen digital capabilities, rethink the ecclesiology, convert to a missional church, and switch to a church that pursues the common good. These conclusions are one direction for the Korean church which is in crisis due to the COVID-19, to move forward, and to keep striving for even after COVID-19.

코로나19는 한국교회 역사에서 미증유의 사건으로 기록될 것이다. 코 로나19는 아직까지 진행 중이며 그 종식의 시점을 기약하기 어렵지만 한국 교회의 존재 방식에 대한 전면적인 고민을 안겨주고 있다. 무엇보다 코로 나19는 한국교회 신뢰도가 21%까지 급락하는데 큰 영향을 미쳤으며, 한 국교회가 코로나19 확산의 주요 원인으로 지목되면서 대중들에게 혐오의 대상으로까지 전락하게 되었다. 문제는 한국교회에 향한 대중의 부정적 인 식이 쉽게 변하지 않는다는 것이며, 이는 한국교회 선교의 큰 장애로 작용 하게 된다는 것이다. 코로나19로 위기에 처한 한국교회의 회복은 매우 시 급하다. 이러한 위기 속에서 <코로나19와 한국교회에 대한 연구>라는 주 제로 코로나19와 한국교회에 관련된 한국 사회 구성원들의 인식조사가 실 시되었고, 개신교를 바라보는 인식 현황들을 확인하였다. 이러한 인식조사 의 목적은 한국교회와 코로나19에 관련된 문제가 무엇이며 그 해법이 무엇 인가를 제안하는 데 있었다. 논자는 이에 코로나19 보고서가 보여주는 코 로나19 관련 한국교회에 대한 인식 실태를 확인하고, 그것이 시사하는 바 들을 탐구할 것이다. 동시에 한국교회가 코로나19로 인해 도래한 위기상 황 속에서 나아가야 할 방향을 모색하고자 한다. 이를 위해 본 연구는 <코 로나19와 한국교회에 대한 연구> 보고서의 개괄적인 내용을 소개한 후, 그 것이 코로나19 이후 한국교회가 수행해야 할 과제에 어떤 시사점을 주는지 확인할 것이다. 그 결과, 본 연구는 아래와 같은 해결책을 제안한다. 1. 한 국교회 안 협의체적 구조의 확보, 2. 언론과의 건설적 관계 형성, 3. 교회의 디지털 역량 강화, 4. 교회론의 재고 및 선교적 교회로의 전환, 5. 공공선 을 추구하는 교회로의 모색 등이 그것이다. 이러한 결론은 코로나19로 인 해 위기를 맞은 한국교회가 나아가야 할 방향들의 하나로서, 코로나19 이후 한국교회가 위기를 극복하고 교회의 교회됨을 이루어가는 실천적 지향 점이 되기를 기대한다.
