As one of the successful rural development models in the East Asia, the Saemaul movement in South Korea has attracted the attention of Chinese scholars since the 1990s. The promotion process of Saemaul Movement in South Korea was firstly investigated in this paper, a literature review was made on the research of Saemaul Movement from the perspectives of success factors, research methods, research center and theoretical construction. And the academic papers related to the Saemaul Movement in the three core databases of CNKI through the CiteSpace analysis were analyzed and the research characteristics were revealed. The research characteristics are as follows: 1) The numbers of papers that were published from 2006 to 2008 are the most. 2) There is no stable and close relationship between the authors and the units. 3) The key words of co-occurrence map mainly focus on the practical experience of Saemaul Movement, the enlightenment of Saemaul Movement to the Construction of New Socialist Countryside and the Rural Revitalization, etc. Finally, Rural Revitalization should not only strive to achieve visual results in China, but also relearn from the international model of Saemaul movement. On this basis, The Chinese goverment should promote the effective implementation of Rural Revitalization according to the principle of common prosperity, face the global problems of “Agriculture, Rural areas and Farmers”, and construct the sustainable promotion system of Rural Revitalization, face the global rural development and help other countries revitalize the countryside, and support the academic research and cultivate the local and overseas scholars for the Rural Revitalization.

한국의 새마을운동은 성공적인 동아시아 농촌개발 모델의 하나로서 지난 1990년대 부터 이미 중국 학자들의 관심을 받았으며, 또한 지속적으로 연구되어 왔다. 이 글에서 는 우선 새마을운동의 추진 과정을 살펴본 후 성공 요인, 연구 방법, 연구 중심, 이론적 구축 등 차원에서 한국 내의 새마을운동 연구들을 문헌적으로 고찰하였다. 그 다음으 로 CiteSpace 분석법으로 중국 지식네트워크(CNKI)에 수록된 3대 핵심 데이타 베이스 중의 새마을운동 관련 학술 논문들을 분석하여 연구 특징을 밝혀냈다. 그 연구 특징은 주로 2006~2008년 기간 동안의 논문은 중국 학술지에서 가장 많이 게재되고 저자 및 소속기관 간은 긴밀한 협력 관계를 이루어내지 못하였으며, 또한 키워드의 공발생 지도는 주로 새마을운동 자체의 성공 경험, 중국 사회주의 신농촌건 설(新農村建設)과 향촌진흥(鄕村振興)을 위한 새마을운동의 시사점 등에 주목하였다 는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 향촌진흥은 중국 내의 가시적 성과를 거두기 위해 지속적으로 실시되어야 할 뿐만 아니라 국제화를 지향하는 새마을운동 모델을 다시 참조해 볼 필요가 있다는 결론을 내렸다. 이를 바탕으로 중국 정부는 공동부유(共同富裕)라는 원칙에 따라 향촌진흥을 전반 적으로 추진하며, 세계적 ‘삼농’문제에 직면하여 지속가능한 추진 체계를 구축하며, 전세계의 농촌발전을 지향하여 타국의 농촌진흥에 도움을 주며, 학술연구를 지원하여 향촌진흥의 성공 경험을 공유한다는 시사점을 제시하였다.
