Our society has come to recognize the importance of securing a comfortable indoor space and air quality while experiencing rapid changes such as a new virus, income increase, aging population, increase in single-person households, increase in women's entry into society, decrease in marriage rate, and low fertility etc. For these reasons, the recent design direction of apartment houses is considering the two functions of optimal space utilization and improvement of indoor air quality. However, ventilation systems and air purifiers currently on the market have their own unique functions and characteristics, making it difficult to select a suitable device. In that respect, the results of this study will contribute to solving various social phenomena and problems according to the characteristics of the living environment using the medium of the integrated composition of space and air purifier.

우리 사회는 소득증가, 고령화, 1인 가구 증가, 여성의 사회진출 증가, 혼인율 저하, 저출산, 신종바이러스 출현 등의 급격한 변화를 겪으면서 쾌적한 실내 공간 및 공기 질 확보에 대한 중요성을 인식하게 되었다. 이로 인 해 최근 공동주택의 설계방향도 최적의 공간 활용과 함께 실내공기 질 향상이란 두 기능을 동시에 고려하고 있다. 그러나 현재 시중에 시판되고 있는 환기시스템 및 공기청정기는 나름대로 고유의 기능과 특성을 가지고 있어 적 합한 기기선정을 어렵게 하고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 공동주택의 주거특성에 관한 이론적 고찰과 고객요구분석 을 통해 공동주택용 공기청정기 현황 및 특성을 파악하고 향후 개발방향을 제시하고자 한다. 따라서 본 연구결과 는 변화되고 있는 여러 가지 사회현상과 주거환경의 특성에 따른 문제점을 공간과 공기청정기의 통합적 구성이라 는 매개체를 활용하여 해결하는데 기여할 것이다.
