The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of the social support perceived by college students on their career aspiration and mediating effect of grit on the relationship between social support and career aspiration. Specifically, the social support perceived by college students was classified into friends, professors, and parents to verify the effect on career aspiration, and the mediating effect was explored by dividing grit into perseverance and passion. For this purpose, a survey was conducted on college students from 2∼3 year colleges and 4-year colleges, and the final data of 307 students were used. The data collected in this study were analyzed using SPSS 21 and PROCESS macro model 4. As a result of the study, first, it was found that the support of friends, professors, and parents, which is the social support perceived by college students, all had a positive effect on their career aspiration. Second, as a result of verifying the mediating effect of grit on the relationship between the social support perceived by college students and career aspiration, it was found that perseverance, the sub-factor of grit, was mediated. On the other hand, passion, another sub-factor of the grit, did not have a mediating effect. This study suggested the importance of grit's perseverance in the relationship between social support and career aspiration.

본 연구의 목적은 대학생이 인식하는 사회적 지지가 진로포부에 어떠한 영향력을 미치는지 살펴보 고, 사회적 지지와 진로포부의 관계에서 그릿의 매개효과를 분석하는 데 있다. 구체적으로 대학생이 인 식하는 사회적 지지를 대상에 따라 친구, 교수, 부모로 구분하여 진로포부에 미치는 영향을 검증하였 고, 그릿을 끈기와 열정으로 나누어 매개효과를 살펴보았다. 이를 위해 2~3년제 전문대학 및 4년제 대 학의 대학생을 대상으로 설문을 실시하였으며, 최종 307명의 자료를 활용하였다. 본 연구에서는 수집된 자료를 SPSS 21과 PROCESS macro model 4를 활용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 대학생이 인식 하는 사회적 지지인 친구, 교수, 부모의 지지는 모두 이들의 진로포부에 긍정적인 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 대학생이 인식하는 사회적 지지가 진로포부에 미치는 관계에서 그릿의 매개효과를 검 증한 결과, 그릿의 하위요인인 끈기가 매개하는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 반면, 그릿의 다른 하위요인인 열정 은 매개효과가 나타나지 않았다. 본 연구결과를 통해 사회적 지지와 진로포부와의 관계에서 그릿의 끈 기에 대한 중요성에 대해 시사하였다.
